Friendly and honest

As advertised. The staff were friendly/helpful. Small room but well arranged. Wifi speed was really good, compared to the most of the other hotels I stayed.

The locks on the doors. You need keys to lock doors each time.

The shower was good and tea/coffee facilities.

The double bed mattress was much too soft and needs replacing so I had to sleep in the single which was a little better but not such a good sleep as I'm used to a double. Says free parking but only space for 4 cars. When I arrived I got the last place but when I got back later at 10pm all 4 were taken. Fortunately, someone came out for a smoke and he said I could block him in as I was leaving before him.

House was stinking of cigarette smoke and it wasn’t clean. Bathroom was unclean too

Uncomfortable bed, noisy neighbours

I was asked to pay again, even after showing your emails and my bank statement. They prevented me access to the owner's contact number and have put me as a no show to prevent my review. Excellent support from Booking. com means you are reading this. I was the only occupant in the house, retired lady, the were very persistent...take care.
