The location is beautiful, the foyer and public areas are well appointed and great product offering and service was good. We enjoyed the initiative taken to set up a big screen in a conference room, where we could enjoy the Springbok rugby.

Friday afternoon I was standing naked in my room when a maintenance man walked into the room without apology or knocking first to announce his intent. He was not apologetic at all about the mistake and still had the audacity to challenge my husband and tell him, that this was not his fault as he was told the room is empty. He asked if we had complained about a tv remote not working and when we said no, he said he was sent up and that's what he has come to do. On Saturday afternoon, I found the safe door open and our code voided. My handbag was still in the safe and my jewellery - two bracelets and 2 rings were placed under the mat of the safe floor. The explanation was that the safe was found open and the cleaning staff "hid" the jewellery from sight. No explanation why the code was voided.

Needs an upgrade, furniture in room and carpet quite old. Mismatched wooden furniture, chairs seen better days.

The staff and location were bothexcelent.

Hotel is starting to look a bit dated ? the rooms and the hotel both could use an upgrade....
