Ants in our room keep coming all over the benches and food but that was the only thing 😊

I originally booked a standard cabin with shared facilities. For a little extra I upgraded to a TV cabin with shared facilities. The cabin had a good-sized queen bed with clean sheets and duvets. There was a TV, small fridge, kettle with crockery and utensils along with a tea towel and cloth. It was small but had space for a little table along with benchtop and cupboards. Outside chairs were available to sit on the small verandah. Good ventilation through windows and sliding doors. It was grouped with 5 - 6 others in the same area away from other standard cabins. This afforded some privacy from the rest of the park. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were a short walk away. Well-presented clean and tidy. Staff were accommodating and happy to welcome me. Wifi had good reception where the TV occasionally didn't.

Rumble from airport planes taking off but to be expected being so close to the airport. A better supply of milk capsules in the cabin fridge would be helpful.

location to the city, very close to the airport, our room was very nice for our family, the swimming pool was lovely (heated) and the playgrounds really suited the age of all of our kids - we travelled with a group of children aged between 12-1yr old.

The deck to our room was adjacent to the effluent “pump” which meant that we didn’t want to use the picnic table and deck at meal times. but otherwise very happy with our stay

It is nice and close to the airport and you can self check in after hours if you have a late flight. There's a service station in walking distance for a quick breakfast or snack.

I travelled with a large group; three families, 12 in total. Access to the park was clear and easy to find. A great spot for families to connect but also have space for themselves. Pool was a great bonus as well as the children’s park/play area. Staff were amazing and accommodating. Would highly recommend and definitely come back again.

The only issue I had with my room in particular was that there was no air conditioning. We stayed in summer so I think this is a definite must with NZ summers/temperatures. We did have an electric portable fan, so this was better than nothing and eased the heat in the evening. My group stayed in Standard Studio Room.

Lovely clean facilities. Excellent playground and pool area. Heaps of space for kids to run around. Loved our stay here!

I was drawn to the north south holiday park due to its nearness to the airport and its family hours meaning I would actually be able to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quiet time being respected by all the guests, especially that it was New Year’s Eve! I had planned to walk to the airport the next day but there really isn’t an easy way to do that given you need to use the motorway to get there. The staff were very helpful in advising they do an airport shuttle service from the office for only $5. Very helpful and respectful staff. Highly recommend

Holiday Park environment

No attached toilet. Very inconvenient especially at night
