They were super rude. You have to change your bed linen and leave the entrance before you leave and they dictate lots of rules you might feel you are in high school dorm. walls are super thin you can hear everything. there is no lift you have to carry your luggage upstairs yourself. it’s quite dirty not enough toilet and shower in the floor. when I arrive my room was cleaned and ready I’ve seen but i was few hours early and they didn’t allow to me leave my bag and chsnge my clothes they kept me wait till check in time it’s so unnecessary and mean behavior.. stuff was super rude! and you can stay with that money at normal hotel with private bathroom.. it was the worst stay in Japan!

I was unfortunate enough to fall ill for the entirety of my 3 days in Hiroshima but thankfully this hostel was comfortable and quiet enough for me to lie in bed and feel sorry for myself. The free tea kept me comforted, the staff were very friendly and when I did manage to get myself out of bed to get some food it was within a short walk of a big supermarket, restaurants and the Peace Memorial Park

The common area was really nice to hangout and the staff was great.

It didn’t have an elevator so it was difficult to take my bed upstairs. The bottom bed was a little uncomfortable to enter and come out as it was directly in the ground.

The place to leave the shoes stinks horrible. No elevator. The sheet does not cover the full sleeping blanket. The door at the top makes a very loud sound on closing. The bed is very uncomfortable.

The staff was nice and speak english too, which is very helpful. Situation: really next to the park. The bed was confortable and the capsule quite « spacious ». I like also the fact that there is enough showers& toilets.

There is no lift, this is not practical with big luggage. The common room is well equipped but little sad.

The location was really close to the Peace Park, Dobashi Station, and several convince stores.

Very comfy traditional room, warm and spacious. Location was ok, close to streetcar and 10 minute walking distance from memorial.

No elevator and we were on the 4th floor. Could hear the neighbours nextdoor.

absolutely fantastic and comfortable. the staff, Misuzu, was wonderfully nice and conversational. will definitely be back again someday!

Such a great stay at J-Hoppers! Excellent location very close to Hiroshima Peace Park. Staff were lovely and friendly, facilities were great and the stay was very comfortable!

Very friendly staff and nice common areas. Short walk to Memorial Park and supermarked.

The futons were extremely comfortable and Mari was a perfect host. The common areas were clean and comfortable. The price (less than 15000¥/night) for a family of 6 is unbeatable!

unfortunately we had noisy neighbors, very talkative old ladies who started having tea in the room next door at 5am. in the kitchen, there could be more glasses.

The location was fairly close to the Atomic Bomb dome and the Peace Museum, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
