Very clean and up to date. Lovely staff.

Room was really warm despite opening the window. Must be well insulated with the wood cladding.

Even though the room was small it was very clean and had everything you would need including tea coffee biscuits and a bottle of water. Meal was very tasty and the staff went out of their way to help with my dietary requirements. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was on the small side with a sliding door to the bathroom. Location was a bit in the middle of nowhere but not a problem if you want peace and quiet.

The breakfast was excellent and I particularly liked the setting of the restaurant.

I thought the lighting in the room could have been better particularly the central ceiling light. The room was quite small but for one night was adequate. The door lock was very fiddly.

Lovely staff, dinner was really good. My room was decent with a really nice shower and a comfy bed. Very reasonably priced too.

I had the continental breakfast. It wasn't very continental but was ok, just not great. I ordered a flat white (separate from breakfast) and it was a latte at best. Certainly not the end of the world but I'd asked (and paid) for a specific coffee as opposed to the filter coffee on offer so it would have been good to have had what I asked for.. though to be honest, Im quite used to people saying that can make a flat white coffee when asked but in reality, they don't really know what it is!

I used the hotel for a short night stay during my long distance cycling ride. The staff made it very easy to check in during an out of office hours, everything was clean and comforatable.
