Location, room and service were great.
Too much noise at night.

L'emplacement

The room was nice and comfortable. There was a problem with the sink that I signalled to the staff. When I came back the problem was solved.
Some other people were noisy during the night, but it does anything to do with the Hotel's management.

Good location since close to several EU buildings and the Metro, but the area is noisy and does not offer many services (like cafès, etc.). Luckily there is a mini market next door.
Really not worth the EUR 150 per night I paid. Inattentive reception staff. As (they said) the air-conditioning was not working in the room they originally assigned to me, I was moved to another room, which was a cramped attic, suffocating and poorly equipped. This, without offering a discount for the obvious downgrade. Among other unpleasant things, stained pillow covers.

Hotel is located 1-2 minutes walk from a metro and tram station. There is a convenience store right at the street corner where you can get croissants, bread and other foods if you don't want to take the hotel's breakfast option.
Room is clean and spacious enough for 2. Simple design just like in the pictures. Nice looking tiled bathroom with a big shower. The shower had strong water pressure despite us being in the second floor.
Be careful! There are a lot of homeless people loitering around and in the metro station near this hotel. The surrounding area can feel a bit unsafe at night if you use public transport. It is definitely not an upscale neighbourhood.
There are no coffee/tea facilities in the room nor at the reception hall. No vending machines for drinks either. Normally this would not be a problem for me, but we arrived after 10pm when all shops were closed. We couldn't buy anything so we had to take the risk and drink tap water. The guest information book said that each mini bar would have 2 free water bottles; there were none!
I had a street side room; it was noisy all night with vehicles passing by. Room is definitely not soundproof.
Bathroom didn't have a shower mat. It can get dangerously slippery on the tiled floor when it's wet. We were only given one big towel each, no small hand towel. There was no cup to use for brushing your teeth.
The bed is on the hard side, which I personally prefer but it can be too hard for other people. You get only a memory foam pillow, which I personally hate.
Reception desk is not manned most of the time. If you don't have your room card yet, you need to ring the bell and wait for someone to buzz you in at the main entry.
Poor service from the unfriendly receptionists. The girl couldn't smile or say a word of welcome to us. She just took my passport and took forever to look things up on the computer. In the end she asked me to fill in the guest information form. When I told her I already did the online check-in suddenly she could find my information right away. Should have asked us first whether we checked in online since that was their offered service in the first place.
When we left the other receptionist didn't even say goodbye let alone wish us a good journey home. All this for €137 for 1 night? Absolutely not worth this price. I had better service at hostels. I will not be returning here.

Basically expected not much due to reviews - but the place left a very good impression on us. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious - all necessary was there (small fridge, hairdryer, modern shower, big mirrors, and a Very cozy bed!). Overall the style of the hotel spoke to us - many cute retro details in the lobby and the interior.
The place is very close to the city center and just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Botanique gardens - give it a visit!
We rested very well at the place, though the upstairs neighbors were seemingly competing in the sprint with a cat :)
The view out of the window was sadly very not picturesque - some trash next to the tree. But since we stayed for one night only and did not spend all our time next to the window - fine with us.

There was no hot water at night so, we couldn’t get shower. In morning, there was slightly warm water and we could shower very quickly. And, the bed was really tough. Also, at 7 am the fire siren rang and we woke up and started running from the downstairs. When we get the reception they told us that someone just smoke. So we go back and sleep. That was terrible.

Although the room was really tiny, it was clean and had spacious bathroom. Large bed, comfy sheets, close to the metro station, easy to get around.

The location is great, 1 minute walk to the bus and tram to city centre, 3 walk minutes to the bus to the main train station.
The staff is nice and helpful.
The place needs renovation.

Big, comfortable bed. Clean. There is a Carrefour just around the corner in case you need something.
Internet went down a few times. You could hear the person in the room above me.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice location, a really large bed and a nice bathroom and shower
The room was quite small and the large bed made moving around the room a little bit difficult
3.0 / 10.0
The staff to their credit are helpful and friendly.
The room was in the “new” part of the building which you had to go outside the hotel to get to.
There were exposed wires everywhere.
The shower didn’t work properly, and it leaked out onto the bathroom floor.
The door to the bathroom had holes in it and it looked like something from The Exorcist.
The air con in the room didn’t work so it was like a furnace.
There were no USB ports to charge appliances.
There were only two thin pillows provided.
The floors were dirty.
No phone in the room so you had to WhatsApp reception, which is one I’ve never seen before.
And there’s a tram stop outside, that coupled with poor windows made it difficult to sleep.
Also the breakfast buffet is massively over priced for what you get.
And before the hotel try to slate me for leaving a bad review, I wasn’t asked how my stay was while checking out and I’m not going to just start giving out to some poor receptionist about issues she can’t control.
