The pub was fine rooms clean and comfortable although ours was a bit cold.
The main problem was that my husband’s meal was cleared away before he had finished.
We couldn’t get breakfast when we had booked for 8 am. The pub was locked and in darkness. We waited 10 minutes and then left. If we had known that was the case we would have left to home 2?hours earlier! However they did take some money off our bill for dinner to compensate.

Good size room, good facilities in the room, very comfortable bed! Good breakfast, cheery and helpful staff.
Bathroom floor was very cold and we had to put towels down to walk on it!

Perfect location for our need, friendly, welcoming staff. Lovely food very well presented. The room was nice and quiet with very comfy bed! The dog was made welcome too👍🏻

NOTHING, I very much enjoyed my stay and would recommend the property.
SUGGESTION: The Property benefits from location to Goodwood Motor Circuit and the events they organise. I was attending Festival of Speed. When you book the property it’s pricing has breakfast included.
However, these Goodwood events attract over 200,000 people and open early. If you want to avoid hours of traffic you must leave the property by at least 6:30/7am am latest.
Breakfast starts too late at 7:30am, so means you’re paying for something included which you cannot benefit from. I would suggest they provide some early bird options, like a self service continental breakfast, takeaway breakfast baps or better still, on such events provide earlier breakfast.

Impressed by well thought out complimentary drinks and snacks in room. Great choice of breakfasts, well cooked.
Location good, quiet are. Ate dinner at Jolly Driver on arrival day which was also excellent.
Emergency lighting in Room 3 was too bright overnight. My sleep was disturbed as a result. I understand the regulatory requirements, but please change the unit - maybe swap for one in restaurant where it will not matter if it is brighter overnight!

not a good location if you need Wi-Fi access as we were unable to get on line and mobile connection was intermittent which did cause us some inconvenience.

The breakfast was AMAZING! I have never had such a beautifully cooked breakfast at a B&B. I think the guy was a proper chef. The sausages were delicious and everything was meticulously prepared.

Breakfast was first class, and the location was ideal. The welcome was informative and the room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Didn't eat but did have a few pints of Doom Bar which was in excellent condition and very well kept.
Could have provided some soap in the bathroom. The liquid dispenser in the shower was virtually empty and was not brilliant. Full marks however for not having the usual single use plastic bottles.

The breakfast on both days was excellent and really helpful and friendly staff. However the Receptionist on the first day did not really seem to care when checking in. When I asked about the Wifi when I could connect said - oh it has been off for over a week? I did say that should have been notified when I booked online as I needed to work - he just shrugged his shoulders.
However I did manage to get back on on the second day in the evening.
Notification that the Wifi was not working and nobody seemed to know when it was due back on and had been off for over a week?
Room had not been cleaned when we booked in - dead fly in window and hairs in sink and dirty carpet. However on the second day everything was back to normal and really clean and very happy. Will stay again as staff and chefs in the kitchen are really friendly and helpful and great breakfast

we arrived to find a wake starting so joined in for free beer lol. bed was the best so far. the big unit is getting better at sharing. the pub itself was quaint and the meals were good

The room was odd no where to put clothes, freezing on entry 10 degrees, and it took a good while to warm up with the one heater.

Very well presented on entering room, modern, comfortable and very clean. Had everything we needed. Food in the evening and at breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room had extra channels available.
