The price was very good.
They should install blackout curtains. There is light coming in from both sides of the room. Plain cotton curtains don’t cut it.

It was not noise, and for Oaxaca, it is an exception, there is a market closeby, easy to go to the center (approximately 15 minutes walking);
It is on the hill, so it is not recommended to go back by walk;
The bed is not comfortable, the personal do not allow you to pay the right price, but a plus 3-5% of "commission" LIKE ALL Structures IN MEXICO if you pay by card

Really nice place .. Clean and cozy... Really helpful staff... Nice view from the roof... They also accept credit card not many places will in Oaxaca..
The location ...you will need a taxi if you like to hang out near Zocalo..

Nice quiet location. Friendly staff. Safe area. Amazing view from the rooftop.

It's a friendly, clean little hotel. I'm not sure if the staff spoke English, but they were always friendly and helpful. For instance, I asked about a cab the night before I left. When I came to reception the next morning to check out, the cab was already on its way. My room (101) had a little balcony with a view over the (typically Mexican) cluttered rooftops toward the city. There are some great restaurants just a few minutes' walk away down a steep pedestrian street. Coming back from a day walking around the center felt like coming home.
It's on small "quiet" residential streets with homes (and a few small businesses)... which means (in Mexico) barking dogs day and night, sometimes constant fireworks, some brass bands and sound trucks blasting out announcements, etc. Still, this is much better than a street in the center with traffic rumbling by and frequent car horns (on a busy street).

Very clean facility, excellent staff, location with great views and quiet neighborhood with little traffic. Very safe area day or night.. Healthy walk to the Zocalo and other attractions. Stairs and walking uphill slopes provide great exercise going to the hotel.
No coffee or tea in the morning, especially since there are no nearby restaurants that open early.

Great hospitality, especially from Ivan giving us tips on the city tours. You can see on the details that the hotel is clean and well maintained. We were given a nice room with balcony, at which we enjoyed a lot! Parking is safe and they have a rooftop with beautiful city views. Honestlty, our stay exceeded our expectations. We’d come back!
Some would say it’s far from the city center, but that did not bother us at all. 10-15 minutes walk and you are on an “andador” on your way to the main points of interest in Oaxaca.

Great little hotel. Basic, but has all that you need and was clean and comfortable. Plus a lovely rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city, and beyond. The staff were also lovely and accommodating and we extended our stay by an extra 2 nights.
The bedroom could have done with some lamps in addition to the main light.

Good price for a decent room
Bit noisy overnight, many dogs on the street

Loved the position of this - if you like somewhere a little further from the city and quiet, this is the place for you. It’s around a 20 minute pleasant walk to the city.
Cleanliness was outstanding - really outstanding, the cleaners here are the best and tidiest I’ve ever come across
Staff were excellent - we didn’t have the cash right away so the chap let me bring it the day after
Fans available in the room, large bathroom and great views at the top of the property
Also some fantastic coffee shops in the local area make this a great stay
My one small issue I had with the place was the bed position. Upon noticing it was flush with the wall we pulled it out so you have room to walk around the bed from both sides but the cleaner kept pushing it back. There is loads of room for the bed to be like this and it’s better in my eyes as you’re not climbing over the other person all the time and not sleeping pushing up against the wall - personally I’d change this

I loved everything from the beginning, the customer service. The hospitality is phenomenal. I went to my sisters wedding and forgot to tell the front desk that I would extend my stay. I received a call from the front desk asking me If I would stay another night, in order for housekeeping to clean my room. Other hotels pick up your things and leave them in the lobby waiting for you.

The place was as described and like it was in the pictures, I would definitely recommend the place.
The place is kind of far walking from the downtown, also the streets to made it to the hotel seems to be under construction and might be rough for a normal car

Pleasant staffs
Not enough blankets
