Comfy bed, spacious room, central location, friendly staff

Location was fantastic 2 minutes to the beach 5 mins to the centre. Claire & Steve were great hosts very friendly welcoming.The property is beautifully decorated to a very high standard, we found parking very easy. There is no breakfast but we knew that when booking and isn't a problem.

What more can i say about this beutiful little hotel. The location was good, the Staff...the women who runs this was warm, friendly & very welcoming. The Room that i had was great. That 4 poster bed in my room....WOW. Best bed i have ever slept in. I really cannot praise this Hotel enough. 10/10 for just being a great place to stay. I highyl recommend this amazing hotel to anyone.

Steve and Claire are great hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay, our room was spotless and clean. Breakfast was excellent 5 stars all round. Loved meeting Ralph their 8 month old bulldog as well. Looking forward to our next stay in September.

The hotel location is perfect, being in the center of Scarborough, great for exploring the beach and shops on foot. Owners are very friendly and cooks amazing English breakfast each morning.

Parking is a bit difficult as you need to park at the back of the hotel, on the streets (sometimes quite hard to find a space). The room we got unfortunately is the smallest room in the hotel, very crowded for two people for 4 nights. This is probably booking.com's fault as it said it was the last room available, but in fact there were some other bigger rooms available. The bed is very small for 2 people (a small double?) and too soft, my wife got bad back pain after 4 days. Also the sink is installed too low (kids height) and also made back pain worse.

The location was perfect for the town centre, pubs and casino. Steve and Claire were really friendly and breakfast was very nice.

Unfortunately we were allocated the small double room which was nothing like any of the other photographs on the website. It was really disappointing. Very, very cramped. No wardrobe, one plug socket to serve the television, kettle and mini fridge. The TV was on a wall that made it difficult to watch whilst lying on the bed. There was very little room between the end of the bed and the wall and we had to squeeze through to reach the very small bathroom - which again was nothing like those shown on the website. It was extremely dated and was so small that the sink was outside in the actual bedroom! The toilet made a terrible noise every time it was flushed. Hand towels were not even provided for the sink, just two bath towels. We felt it was a lot of money for what we actually got. Also, we were led to believe parking was round the back when in fact we had to drive 4 streets up to find somewhere to park. Just really disappointed with the room as this was one of the many surprises I'd planned for my hubby's 60th birthday celebrations and it just did not live up to expectations.
