after staying in a poorly maintained local hotel, we booked in to palmeras for our last 2 nights of a long weekend, it was beautiful and relaxing

nothing. we had been before in the summer and couldn’t wait to return.

The bungalow we stayed in was wonderful, newly renovated and stylish with good WiFi signal. The location was great, near the promenade so ideal for walking into Playa Blanca or to the Lighthouse. Flamingo Bay nearby was good for sea swimming. The pool was very well maintained with a great bar to get refreshments.

I can't think of anything we disliked

It is a smaller quiter resort. The sports bar is very welcoming and good value. The refurbished rooms and bathrooms are nicely equipped.

The towels were quite old and frayed. The mattress was a bit to firm for my wife. The outdoor pool was very cold.

Apartment was just as a pictures. Very clean and specious with all necessities. The pool and the bars around were great. Beach is 15 minutes walk which we liked and all the stuff was friendly and very welcoming.

We have stayed at Palmeras Gardens on numerous occasions. Nice place. Great accomadation. Excellent Staff Etc ETC.

My only criticism is the Pillows are poor and the mattress are not the best. But i will be back ASAP.

Nice pool, nice bar, clean, good location but whole experience overshadowed by room issue

This hotel did not give us what we booked and the attitude of the hotel was unacceptable. We booked a deluxe two bedroom apartment for four adults for a week. For two nights we were only given a one bedroom apartment, meaning two adults had to sleep in the living room. To make matters worse those two nights were Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! We then had to spend a whole day of our short holiday ove the Christmas period waiting to move to the right room. The attitude of the hotel was unsympathetic and we were even asked to completely move out of one room and wait with our belongings until the new room was ready, with no definitive timeframe given. Management refused to give a refund with no acceptable explanation. Their "compensation" was upgrading us to the premium WiFi upgrade. We did not want this upgrade and would not otherwise have upgraded to it. We are owed £182.56 for the difference between the room booked and the room given.

Palmeras garden is a very peaceful place. The apartments are distributed in small houses with a lot of palms and cactus in-between. I really enjoyed the peace there. The apartment was quite big and had every comfort, including a kitchen and a big terrace.

The location is a bit far from the center of Playa Blanca (which is great if you want peace and quiet) and from the beaches. There are a few restaurants close by, but I decided to go to another one. The bus stop is very close and there is a bus to go to the center and the beaches every half an hour.

Apartment was good value for money and was vey well furnished. Superb accommodation.

Size of the room, was big and spacious. Provided a large clothes drying rack which was extremely useful. The patio at the front of the property is also very useful. Shower room and the bedroom was very clean. So was the kitchen and it was well equipped.

The kitchen cutlery was a bit old and the knife they provided was a bit blunt and not suitable for cooking, only for cutting bread. The location was quite far from the main town centre area

We stayed in a Bungalow at the rear of the complex close to the main road and it was very quiet. Pool is nice (a little cold but you get used to it quickly). You have everything you need close by from beach/bus/seafront/restaurants/mini-mart/bar/water park. The 3 restaurants (Argentine/Italian/Greek) 100 yards down the road are superb. There's also an ATM and sports bar down there and the Bar Arena next door is great. Staff very nice and helpful. Playa Blanca Taxi service was reliable and got us to the airport for our early flight on the Sunday. The location is excellent...it really is. I love how it's a little remote and picturesque with Montana Roja overlooking the complex.. In contrast, when you're walking down the prom to Playa Blanca town centre (15 mins walk) you will walk past the Iberostar and Timanfaya Palace resorts to see folk sunbathing 5 feet away from the hundreds of people walking along the seafront looking in at the facilities. I would have no problem recommending Palmeras Garden. A great place for families looking for a quiet/laid back/relaxing break.

The pool area is open to the public. I knew this in advance from previous reviews but was a little irritating when we went to the pool at the weekend and couldn't get a bed...we sat by the pool bar while the kids went to the pool. Would prefer more frequent towel changes (every 3 days). Good WiFi and Air Con is extra (again knew this from reviews). would prefer both were included and you just charged a little extra upfront. These are minor things and not enough to put me off booking again...in fact I just booked the family for next year.

Nice superior apartment in an overall quiet residence that doesn’t get too busy even during peak season.

Very disappointing housekeeping services and limited to change of towels every 5 days (despite we booked with daily housekeeping included). The apartment is not very clean in the first place and quickly becomes dirty. We ended up buying cleaning products to maintain some standards ourselves. Speaking with reception about the problem didn’t improve anything. For a family of 4, in 3 weeks, we never got any swiping or floor washing, 2 rolls of toilet paper every 3 days, 3 forks in the kitchen and if the place smells it’s not their problem. Unfortunately the lack of organisation and proper cleaning services spoiled a potential rather pleasant place. My advise is, don’t go there if you need to stay for more than 3 days Bonus: Poolside bar opens at 2pm giving you little options for a coffee in the morning.

The receptionist at Palmeras Gardens was exceptionally friendly, kind, and informative, which contributed greatly to our overall enjoyment of the holiday 😁
