The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. They helped to arrange for free airport pickup and were always looking for ways to give me information about local places to eat and how to enjoy my time in Lijiang.

The cleaning service wasn't excellent. They did replace my towels and made sure to take care of the bathroom, but that seemed to be the extent of the service.

Nice courtyard, daily cleaning service, quite close to the center of the ancient town, calm during nights

Cold at night and no heating source in room (we have been there in September)

The room was very spacious and clean and the staff was very nice and helping. The matresses were very comfortable and the heating worked well (important in winter) The place was nice and quiet even though it was in the middle of old Lijiang.

Unfortunately, the water took about 10-15 minutes to heat up for warm water, which was a little annoying. The breakfast was „western“ but had more chinese components than western but still was ok. Be aware, that you have to walk around 15 minutes to get to the hotel as there are no cars allowed in old town

During my visit, it was minus 1c, the heated floor is a blessing. Location is superb. On your arrival , U must make arrrangement with the htl guys to send a trishaw ( for carrying your luggage so that u don have to drag them all the way to the hotel, as htl location is deep inside the old city n taxi is not allow to enter)

Hot water in bath room need sometime to get hot, we got problem contacting the htl resulting wasting time finding the htl while dragging our luggage on the cobler stone
