it was very comfortable and very close to the shops and café.Perfect

Apartment was spacious, Bathrooms were updated. Location excellent. It was easy to contact the owner via Whatsapp.
Some of the furnishings were too "vintage" and need updating. Our biggest problem related to the fact that we were very early in the season (March 17-23) and the apartment was simply cold despite good heaters in the bedrooms and dining room. The biggest issue was the kitchen which had no heat and was just frigid. The induction cooktop was hard to operate and provided no warmth to the room from cooking. There were minor issues like no multi-outlet so that the toaster and the microwave could be plugged in at the same time.

The location is top! The house is very central in the lower city and, as a bonus, above the best cafe and ice cream shop in Modica. The house a charming, old and original property in Modica and is huge. Very quirky furnishing mix of antiques, vintage and kitsch. The terrace, which is built in between surrounding buildings, has no views but offers a nice and private space to sit outside. The balcony looks out over one of the main streets in Modica.
As this is an old house, it is pretty dark inside and the layout is not very practical. The bathroom is a bit small and dark and the kitchen fairly basic but that comes with the fact that the house is mostly left in its original state.

The location couldn't be better. In the centre of town with restaurants, bars and shopping on the doorstep. Railway station an easy 15 minute walk. Giuseppe, our host, was always on hand to help with any questions or issues. The apartment was superb with all facilities including two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was also a spacious terrace where we could sit out. The air conditioning was important for us.
Really for us there was nothing that could be improved.

The location was good and the host was nonintrusive and available for any questions. The internet was not good and they came over right away to see if they could fix but once connected again it kept dropping and I was not able to do work that I needed to get done but we appreciated the effort. The view from two of the bedrooms was nice (see photo)
The Internet connection was not good, they need to upgrade service.! The kitchen was not heated (January) and was very cold in the mornings when making coffee and breakfast. The living room was very dark and had poor lighting. Beds were not comfortable (twin beds put together to form larger size) and had heavy stiff blankets and pillows.

The location for a 3 day stay was perfect. Peppe and Christina had a locked garage for the car and all provisions and several to quality and to value restaurants were nearby. The locals were very friendly. We like walking and the hike up to Modica Alta was good exercise. Plenty of nice surprises here such as free street concert nearby.
This area is not over run by tourists and that is a good thing .
We liked having one place we could all stay in together, and I could practice playing our belt acquired accordion on the balcony. Even the local cheese shop proprietor liked the music.
Realistically, there is nothing to complain about.
The place is quiet, spacious, private, and convenient. The style is baroque but essential modifications have been done.
