Sheets were nice and towels big and fluffy and clean room
Bed was very uncomfortable, no wifi for the first half of the night ( even after loadshedding)
Pool closes too early 8pm - most places it’s 10. Not allowed to have guests when booking alone and price is ridiculous compared to if you booked for two people (R1053 for two people, 930 for 1 but then it’s 550 to have a friend join you which makes zero sense - I would think you’d just upgrade to two people and pay the 1053

A very warm welcome from the owner of the hotel.
She was really nice and helpful, giving us a lot of suggestion for the trip and let feeling us like at home.
She gave us the opportunity to take part a wine tasting at the restaurant next to the hotel.

Our family bedroom was very spacious and had everything that we needed. Loved the restaurant, coffee shop set up at the bottom of the garden, and wished we had more time to enjoy it more!

The adjacent coffee shop and breakfast restaurant made the stay a lot more convenient. Liked the spacious comfortable room. Friendly and helpful owner/managers.
The extractor fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy. WiFi didn't work well. On the night we needed a good sleep there were some very noisy guests having a party and playing loud drinking games late into the night.

The location is brilliant, it’s so close to everywhere.
Gatvol coffee is also very cool, really nice to have that on site and the breakfast was delicious.
The beds are comfortable.
We booked for 3 people but only had 2 towels in the room when we arrived and as we arrived late there was no way to get an additional towel until the next day.
The kitchen is very basic.
The pillows are not the most comfortable.

The food was amazing.
The intermittent WiFi and the fact that management takes no responsibility for it. I ended up having to use my own mobile data and I do think management needs to look into the state of the WiFi and improve its coverage. Feels like a deflection that they aren’t responsible for it as their counterparts do account when the WiFi isn’t the greatest. Equally, the no visitors policy needs to be revisited. Charging people even if they don’t sleepover feels punitive and unrealistic.

Atmosphere was good around the hotel I love it.
Room design wasn't the one I expected small even.

Staff was friendly and accommodating vanue was at a safe place, all in all we felt at home. Next time I am at Durban I will not hesitate to book with them.

Spacious room with super comfortable bed
There doesn’t seem to be a reception and after check in (done at the room) there was no contact from hotel staff/management. The fan in my room didn’t work and I had some difficulties with the TV but there was no one around to help.

I like the staff is so good in connecting with us,they also very welcoming us, they smile and we feel so welcomed. They place is neat and very safe for us and car parking.
