The fact that there was no swimming pool

Stunning view of Kayninga crater lake. Clean room, hot water ans comfortable bed. Very friendly staff.

Spectacular view! Superfriendly staff, including very happy to give you a tour around the lake, with everchanging amazing views on the lake, the mountains and the surroundings, with fascinating birds and cool monkeys who are as curious about humans than the humans are about them. And, if you ask, they will take you to scenic swimming spot for an "out-of-movie" swimming experience. Delicious Breakfast with excellent coffee served in front of the room with view on the lake at whatever time you want- no better way to start the day. Pick-up from Fort Portal, making the distance on a non-issue.
Warm water and wifi a bit unreliable, for good reasons though, given that it depends on solar energy.

The lake view from my room was mindblowing, loved that there was hot water, staff were really nice, the cottages are amazing and spacious,loved the peace and quiet with the birds singing in the trees ,breakfast was variety filled and i loved the late evening snacks too. Literally, this place exceeded my expectations.
One challenge that i faced though was that even with navigation system i kept getting lost because of the many small road junctions and there were no signs or posts after the main road so i kept going back and forth but i finally made it .

It is a perfect place to relax away from the city. The staf is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. And of course, the view is fantastic!

I loved the location although a bit remote.
The views from the room were fabulous. It was peaceful and quiet.
We saw velvet and colors monkeys jumping in the trees.
And there was plenty of parking.
The roads to get there weren't the best. But it was worth it.
They use a solar system so when it rains 🌧 we couldn't charge our phones.
Also the breakfast had limited options.
And they should spray the room for mosquitoes every night.

The views of crater lakes were beautiful.
Breakfast served was exactly per order & exceeded our expectations.
Breakfast was served on a viewing platform outside which made the experience memorable.
The pancakes were delicious juicy crepes.
The staff were lovely & very attentive & happy to please.
The dinner options for vegetarians were pretty limited but this was likely just as the menu was limited during covid times.
The shower faucet didn’t have a stand so that you could could shower hands free. Ok
Would have liked a daily room service.

Food was very good and the location os delightful;
There was a MAJOR problem with the payment. Booking.com has my credit card, but you do not pay the vendor. I was paying for a friend who did not have the resources to pay, at the time. There was a problem with PayPal, so the hotel was bothering my friend every day about being paid. He was there to relax, and that was interrupted by their mistrust.

The view from hotel is nice. Staff were very supportive. I was the only guest. But Okoti who is chef and Sarah, perahps manager of the property were super supportive. I was able to enjoy my stay.
The shower water was very hot and gives you only hot water.
