clean and comfortable
The greeting from the owner was a little unwelcoming and slightly awkward.
Communication via the app was excellent

what a beautiful place loved the size of the place done up really nice very spacious had central heating the man was lovely and helpful bed was comfy shower was lovely and hot the right temperature great breakfast spread
the stairs were a bit of a pain to the room in the loft gutted there was no oven had to throw my pizza and potatoes away heating went off was really cold in there got some blankets out of the wardrobe to keep warm as we didn’t go out in the end cause cabs were fully booked and I paid for tickets in bury saint edmonds and the property was 25 mins away so was a waste of a long journey stay

Shirley has thought of everything in this delightful place!So many personal little touches from a very plentiful breakfast including choice of several cereals , a fresh fruit platter, yoghurts, jams, honey, Danish pastries, and orange juice and much more. Very comfortable beds, everywhere is exquisitely clean and fresh. Very peaceful too. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

The loft is modern, spotless and spacious and conveniently located near The Leaping Hare where we had booked dinner for my husband's birthday. The breakfast hamper was lovely and the shower excellent.
We were dining out so for one night it wasn't a problem for us but the lack of either an oven or hob might be a problem for longer stays. I don't tend to buy microwaveable foods

Excellent place to stay. Very comfortable with everything you need. The breakfast has a good choice of cereal, fruit, fresh bread and preserves.

Very clean and spacious room well equipped was excellent, and the quality of towels was like a 4-star hotel.
A little cold at night, and I wished to have eggs for my breakfast.

The Loft was a beautifully clean, spacious. welcoming place. Breakfast was lovely and if you don’t mind a short drive, The Dog at Norton was superb
The staircase up to the front door was a tad steep but it is lit at night and what lies beyond the front door was swell worth it!

The photos don’t do it justice - Maltings Farm is a beautiful location and the Loft is a lovely place to stay. It was very clean, comfortable and modern, and the facilities and rooms - including the bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom - had everything you might need. There were also lovely touches such as extra fleecy blankets, additional toiletries, and a wide selection of breakfast options including fresh fruit and more. Parking was also super easy.
The wi-fi didn’t work - which wouldn’t be a problem if mobile ‘phone network worked but that doesn’t either because of the location - but that can’t be helped. Hosts did do their best to help which was much appreciated. It’s only an issue if you need it to communicate with others such as fellow guests at a wedding nearby as we did - but not a massive issue if you’re out a lot or want to get away from tech on your stay.
