Stefania is a gem! Kind, friendly, helpful and simply fun! The breakfast was superb - do try the pistachio paste yummissima)!

Host Stefania was gracious and welcoming along with her happy little white dog to greet us when we arrived. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The house sits all by itself on a quiet hill not far from the center of town. The bed was wonderful and the breakfast spread was lavish; among the best we have had in Italy.

Driving in Agrigento is not for the faint of heart.

B&B Sorahnia - Design House offers a calm and beautiful respite from the busy town of Agrigento and is still close to all points of interest in the area. Breakfast was elegant and delicious. Stefania, the host, is fluent in English and French, and is both welcoming and kind.

I was travelling with my family and we ordered 2 rooms for our stay. The rooms were amazing, in a very beautiful area with terrific nature. But above all, it's the amazing host Stefania, who simply made our every dream come true. The restaurants that Stefania recommended were best restaurants in our whole trip in Sicilia, as well as the breakfast she prepared. Everything was just PERFECT!

we loved the place, it is beautiful, clean, modern; everything was perfect, nice breakfast, close to historic center even if we had to take the car, the host showed us where to park in town. The host is very nice and helpful; the rooms are comfortable, clean, modern.

Our hostess, Stefania, was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, with a nice terrace and a lovely view. There was also a small fridge and a coffeemaker in the room. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of choices, both sweet and savory.

The property is located outside of the city on a sharp corner. It was a little difficult getting in and out when there was traffic.

The facility was new and well designed, with a clean and tidy room, and a place to park inside. Tasty homemade breakfast. The hostess was kind and welcoming.

Can't walk into town, the place is a short but must drive away from anywhere.

Peaceful, clean, and private. The shower was lovely, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. Stefania is everything you could want in a host.

I cannot think of one thing I didn’t like.

Quiet and comfortable rooms. Located outside of town, which could be a plus or minus. Parking was easy, but we had to drive into town for dinner. Extremely helpful host, and a good breakfast.

This is a lovely design house, modern and clean. It offers the best possible accomodation in Agrigento. Rooms are hotel-like and the attention provided by our host Stefania was excellent. On top of that, you will enjoy a lovely home made breakfast!

The house is on the hills and by the road, just outside of Agrigento. Unless you travel by car (like we did) you may need to use a taxi service to get to and from the house.

It was far more the best accomodation in our trip in Sicily. We were in early april - and this was the ONLY room wich was not cold at that time. Perfectly clean, stylish decoration, close to the city with easy parking and relaxing facilities. The owner was also supernice, and the breakfast - altough everywhere was told that the breakfast is excellent - here was REALLY fantastic. ( We could have it in the balcony with a view to the valley. ) We can just recommend the place - absolutely worth the price.

There was no such thing. Even the little dog of the owner was superfunny.

If you want to visit ancient Greek ruins, you don’t have to go to Greece, just go to Sicily! The Valley of the Temples outside of Agrigento is spectacular, and when you walk through the many ancient Greek buildings you are transported 2,500 years back in time. But, in order to visit this archaeological treasure, you must stay in or near Agrigento. Agrigento has a charming old town with narrow one-way streets that is surrounded by a very busy, confusing, modern city packed with high-rise buildings and elevated roadways. We were so thankful to be staying at the B&B Sorahnia Design House just outside of town, with easy road access and that all-too-rare, almost miraculous thing in Sicily: easy and ample parking. Instead of fighting with 50 other contestants for each parking space in town at the B&B Sorahnia Design House you have unlimited parking inside an electric-powered gate that you operate yourself: you can come and go as you please, eliminating the biggest headache of car rental in Sicily. Our host Stefania could not have been more gracious, and her breakfasts were absolutely wonderful. She is a world-class baker, and we looked forward each morning to the wonderful cakes, pies, and pastries she shared with us, after producing them seemingly without effort. Her local cheeses and meats, and eggs and pancakes cooked to order were wonderful, and helped us begin each day happily, contented, and well-fed. You cannot go to Sicily without seeing the Valley of the Temples, but the secret to doing so is to avoid the cramped and noisy city of Agrigento when you do so. The solution to this seemingly insoluble problem is to stay at the comfortable, convenient, quiet, B&B Sorahnia Design House, and to use it as your base for your explorations of both the Sicilian south coast, and the interior and other spectacular sites like the Villa Romana del Casale.
