Nice rooms, cozy with nice furniture

There is no reception service, nor information support about Tulum and the activities. Roberto, is a guy staying there kind of 24/24 who is very nice, but can’t help u about tours and reccomandations about things to see and visit. There is a receptionist who is reachable just by phone, but did not really help us nor answered to our questions. Quite useless. Also, the hotel is hard to find and there is no panel with the name so that from outside it doesn’t even seem an hotel. Finally, it looks like the entire structure (except for the rooms) is still under construction/not finished. There is no air conditioning and the fans are quite noisy.

All is new, they filled the swimming pool while we we there and the location is great.

Fan did make some noise during the night.

Loved everything about this place. Beautiful, quiet great size room. Super comfy bed, great wifi. A hidden gem od the Zona.

The room itself was nice, lot of space, large bed and stylish furniture.

1. It is almost impossible to find it (no signs, no driver ever heard of the accommodation). It took us almost 2 hours running back and forth and asking multiple people to finally realize that we stood right in front of it from the very beginning. 2. The property is still a construction site. The only thing that is already finished is the cabaña with the rooms. Otherwise, right next to your room there is a construction site of a future swimming pool. Therefore, it is very dusty and not very comfortable to spend time in. 3. The whole area is extremly noisy. Both neighbours (a restaurant and a pharmacy) have a very loud electricity generator that runs day and night. It is impossible to escape the noise. Even with the windows closed you hear it. 4. No Facilities like reception, common area. 5. Althought the furniture is stylish and very boho, it is very uncomfortable to sit in (patio chairs, sofa)

Very difficult to find. No sign on the street even at the entrance.

the hotel is a little cocoon, the decoration of the room is sublime in the spirit of tulum, bohemian, you want to take everything with you, in short, it is very beautiful and improvements are still in progress, a small swimming pool and others for the make it totally perfect. it is a small haven of peace 1 minute from the caribbean. the staff is lovely and available. I recommend it 100%.

Scorpion in the room ( I could it handle by myself) and the door lock didn‘t work. But the staff gave me a another room for the night… the fixed the lock the next morning!

The design of the rooms is very nice. The location is central and quiet besides the generators.

The property is basic, but is seems they are the developing it more. It is private and tucked into the jungle side of the road, but very close to the beach.

I have honestly rarely been as disappointed as I was after a check in. Amor Rooms, at least at the moment, is a construction site. The beautiful garden that you see in the pictures is non-existent, there is no reception / common area / any sign of welcome etc., and the rooms on one side of the house are under construction too. We were woken by loud hammering noises in the first morning at 8.15am, and in the second morning at 7.20am, which was tough while being on vacation. Of course, there was a lot of noise from the construction all day, so it was good we didn't spend much time on the property. What frustrated me the most though was that Lourdes, apparently the owner, shared a lot of information about Amor Rooms and Tulum with me beforehand, but "forgot" to mention the construction works. And I hate having the feeling that someone is intentionally keeping information from me. I reached out to Lourdes, who wasn't in Tulum at the time, after we'd checked in, and she offered to cancel the booking (which of course she probably already knew we wouldn't do because we didn't have another option available). She didn't offer any price discount or any other gesture to show that she understood our frustration. We couldn't enjoy our stay at all, and I can't recommend this hotel to anyone. Probably gets better once they are done with all the works but I don't see that any time soon.

Quiet and prime beach location

The people that run Amor rooms are absolutely wonderful and they made the experience so wonderful. I guess with this place you get what you are paying for. The location is absolutely amazing, So close to the beach and great food all around.

All in all it is a nice place, but it also has its small flaws. The noise between the rooms can be a bit much.
