Very good reception from Kate and Boots the cat. The house is very cosy and clean. Very lovely surroundings and the views overlooking the farm and looking at the horses and sheep were just so good. Heating from the wood burner is some nice and classy touch of the whole place. We loved the whole experience. Clean hot showers , working oven and hot plate to cook... it is all brilliant

Going home

This little hut was a wonderful nights stay for me and my partner. It had everything we needed and was so cosy! I loved the views and how Kate has thought of every little detail, it was so special.

Great place and welcoming. Idyllic in so Many respects. A real family feel and boots the cat was a welcome addition. Local village is a 25 minute walk.

Disappointing no hot tub anymore.

Gorgeous little place - so well thought out with lots of individual touches . Kate the hostess was friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home . It was the perfect place to wind down, so peaceful with beautiful views. the log burner kept the hut warm and cosy . There were yummy chocolate muffins waiting for us and fresh eggs . Boots the cat was a regular visitor too ! one night just wasn’t enough !

The location was spot on for peaceful, natural surroundings. All the home amenities were there and extra touches to provide comfort were thought of. It was spacious for the type of property it was. We liked all the home touches

There wasn't much we didn't like. The location of the hut means your right in the face of the elements so when the weather was poor we could hear the wind and rain but it was so cosy inside that it didn't really matter. The view is worth it.

AMAZING!!! My husband and I we spent our wedding anniversary weekend in this cute little hut. lovely biscuits and fresh egg were waiting for us(and even milk in the fridge for our morning cuppa!) very clean with comfy bed. Definitely will be coming back. highly recommended!

Beautiful, quiet setting. Very well appointed with thoughtful touches to make it feel very homely. Absolutely fabulous welcome from Kate and Boots the cat. Hot tub was a definite bonus.

The only issue we had were some young willow trees that made a racket on the roof and walls in a the high winds over the weekend we were there. We should have chirped up after the first night but didn’t. Kate could not have been nicer about it and sorted them out after we had left. But to be honest that was an external thing and nothing to do with the accommodation. We enjoyed every minute we were in the hut and unwound in style!

Stunning shepherd's hut, stunning views, fab host, everything you need catered for, beautifully decorated, fab hot tub, absolutely loved it.

Lovely relaxing escape away, beautiful shepherds hut and scenery, loved our little visits from a few of the dogs and boots the cat!

Our stay was lovely, our only negative was that the hot tub was turned off on the last day which we presumed may be for cleaning, we just weren’t aware until we went to get in it on our last evening

The beautiful location , the attention to detail and the perfect host. Willowbank is such a beautiful place to stay we didn't want to leave! Definitely worth making a trip into Wells to explore the cathedral and palace gardens whilst you are here.

Serenity ,quiet, relaxing

The view, the style, it was comfortable & light and warm at night. Kitchen was enough to do the cooking we wanted. Fire pit great and hot tub a bonus!

There wasn't much we didn't like except no WiFi!

Kate is a great host. A warm welcome and great attention to detail. The shepherd's hut is lovely, cozy and comfortable, with great views and the hot tub is an added bonus. A great place to relax and unwind. We will be back and will recommend to all of our friends. 10 out of 10

Nothing to dislike

Staying at the Willowbank Shepheard's hut was an amazing experience. Kate was beyond helpful and assisted us with all of our needs. The eggs and biscuits we received upon arrival were such a lovely added touch. The weather was lovely which allowed us to spend plenty of time outside in the sun, we loved the fire pit/BBQ which we used on both the evenings of our stay. The bed was super comfy and we both had the best nights sleep. I honestly couldn't fault our stay, we'll definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay here. Kate has thought of everything and even has milk in the fridge for your arrival! The views are great and the outside fire pit and grill comes with an endless supply of logs. The animals are as friendly as Kate and the lambs and dog roam around freely! Would definitely stay here again.

Sam and I enjoyed a long weekend at Willowbank Sheperd's hut - we had the most amazing time! Kate was a dream, recommending us some lovely places to go (pub, bike rides and lots more) if we asked anything she was always quick to respond and help us with whatever we asked. The farm was very sweet, Kates son was kind enough to give us a show around of the animals and we met their cute new sheep that arrived that day! The fire heated up the hut and kept us very cosy and comfy. The fire pit outside was so great, we enjoyed our evenings sat out there roasting marshmallows and looking at the stars. Great views from the hut. The bathroom was fab, shower was lovely - really hot. Bed was super comfy! Boots the cat made our stay! Joining us mornings and evenings VERY CUTE. Kate also kindly sent us on our way with some of the chicken freshly laid eggs - yum! Couldn't recommend enough - we will be back for sure.
