BEauty of the place

The location is absolutely wonderful. You have all the facilities needed and much more. Is has a cozy atmosphere and a warm welcome. The living room and kitchen is upstairs and the dormitories are down, where also the two bathrooms are. 10 minutes by car from the city. No need to add more details. I am extremely glad I found it available and grateful I choose to stay here! Will definitely return!

Everything was perfect!

We simply loved our stay at Østigård. While we weren’t really lucky with the weather, this place made it possible to enjoy our stay at the Rauma region. It’s very cozy, well equipped and maintained. Interior is high end while older parts of this beautiful house from 1860 are nicely integrated. It has everything you‘ll need (incl high tech sound system and TV) and it’s perfectly located at the beginning of the Trollstigen pass. Oddleif was very responsive and even allowed us to stay an additional night free of charge to enjoy this place with some better weather as well. Highly recommended.

Ask about Oddleif’s home made apple juice!! It’s amazing. Also the cabin was even better than the pictures - kitchen had everything you need and more. The quality of finishing in the cabin was way above our expectations and the location was out of this world (also much better than the pictures show). There were 7 of us and it was a very comfortable stay.

Feels really like home. Huge kitchen! House fully equipped, nice interior design. Two sound systems, one in the kitchen and one in the living room.

We really loved the cabin! It's modern and includes everything you would need. The view is amazing. It was just great to wake up in the morning and look outside :) It's also close to some new sights. Highly recommended.
