The beach itself is nice. And the beds are comfortable.

This is a dated, overpriced spot targeted at class-less party-seekers. Everything about this hotel feels "cheap". The rooms and facilities are rather dated and rundown, especially when you consider the high price. The drinks are heavily diluted and made with mixes rather than real fruit. The beach furniture is torn and offers no shade or any of the amenities you come to expect from a beachfront hotel. Also, you have to carry cash when you go to the beach as they don't let you have a room tab. Zero for service. Lastly, they blast techno music each night and have parties with extra loud music until 2am a few times a week. They don't tell you that when you book so it's a SURPRISE when you roll in with your two young kids looking for a relaxing stay and a good night sleep. Avoid.

Breakfast is really good value for money. The dorm room was quite spacious. The beds had curtains and 2 pillows. The hotel has 4 events per day including welcome drinks and yoga

The music from the beach club is quite loud as well as from the restaurant when it has private parties. There are 8 beds in one dorm which could be too much for one bathroom if all of them are occupied

La ubicación del hotel es súper privilegiada, el acceso a la playa es lo mejor, sales de tu habitación y prácticamente ya estás en la playa. El loft tiene un peque frigobar y platos y vasos, muy útil si quieres ahorrar un poco en comida (la zona es bastante cara). A diferencia de otros hoteles, aquí no serás discriminado por ser mexicano.

La velocidad del internet es un poco lenta, y durante el día se llena el estacionamiento debido al Beach Club. Sin embargo, siempre me reservaron un lugar por ser huésped del hotel.

The location was perfect. It was really in the perfect spot of Zona Hotelera, so many beach clubs and restaurants could reached by foot. We also liked that we felt very safe in the hotel, as there was security all the time. Room was also very spacious and the AC was working perfectly (which meant A LOT with the humidity).

The information we were provided at the arrival date could have been better. For example, we didn't know that we had 20% discount on all food and drinks at the MIA beach club that was a part of Selina. Also, the private bathroom we had was leaking water so it always had wet floors. The water from the bathtub and sink was salty, it was rather unpleasant to wash the teeth (but I am not sure whether it is like that everywhere in Tulum).

I stayed in Selina Cancun by the Laguna -2 weeks, decided to drive to Tulum and knowing that the one in Cancun is in great location, good customer service and fun place I choose to stay one night in Tulum Selina by the beach. OMG I fall in love with this place wish I stayed here 2 weeks , and extended 3 more nights.I’m thinking to stay a lot more days instead browsing around,because i discovered pure paradise.Im saving you time if you reading my review that can’t believe early in the morning I’m writing. If you are trying to figure out good place to stay in Tulum I guarantee you will love it . Im on vacation for 2 months in Mexico ,and for sure “Selina Tolum by the beach”become my favourite place to stay always when I come back to Mexico. Love the Tepe N1 I stayed,love the bigger suite I moved in because I needed more space for my little girl, my Maltese to run around. The view is wow. The beach , the beach club, the landscaping, the restaurant Mia offers great food the breakfast , lunch and dinner no need to go anywhere to look for better dining . If you travel solo and don’t need room for your self they have dorms .Everyone is lucky to be here . I walk yesterday and couldn’t find other hotel that I like more. I’m in love I guess with this place . The managers are very friendly, the employees, the security, servers everyone is very kind and helpful. Thank you Selina for existing ❤️❤️❤️🇲🇽🏝️

There is nothing not to like , probably only that the Tepe I stayed N1 with the best location,don’t have an opinion for bathroom right next to like the few others near the bathroom and shower,because showers are no big deal for me to be away, but bathroom night time i need it often …haha . It’s not a complaint it’s a desire for older women . I’m extremely happy in my new suite , ground floor , can’t wait to upgrade for 3rd floor to explore from Tepe to all other amazing options 🏝️❤️🇲🇽

Tesisin sadece sahili güzel.

Özellikle resepsiyona geldiğimde karşılayan kadın resepsiyon görevlisi hiç güler yüzlü değildi. Odalar çok eski ve kirli. Berbat bir otel. Otelin bulunduğu bölge çok güzel ama ulaşım zor sadece taksiyle dönebilirsiniz. Otelden merkeze ya da Ado Otobüs terminaline gidiş taksiyle 500-600 peso. Odalarda hiç bir şey yok havlu bile verilmedi. Duşlarda şampuan ve benzeri hiç bir şey yok gördüğüm en eski ve bakımsız odalara sahip otel. Ranzalara kocaman dolaplar yapmışlar çok konforsuz. Nevresimler pisti. Deniz dışında hiç bir şey güzel değildi hiç memnun kalmadım.

Manuel at Reception is mega, competent and very helpful, real asset for the hotel.

Breakfast selection for the included breakfast is very limited. There is a sort of generator next to the entrance which makes a massive noise and ejects a terrible petrol smell... AC cannot be controlled in room, but only via Reception and doesn't stop working if windows are open.

Přimo v hotelu je hudební klub. Nedá se ani spát. Vše zde duní celou noc. Arogantni personál si při každé platba snaží ještě přilepšit nad rámec 16% za servis. Většina hotelové pláže vyhrazena hudebnimu baru, ktery za lehatka učtuje poplatek. Pro hotelove hosty je k dispozici pár rozpadlých lehatek.

Kostenloser Parkplatz, außergewöhnlich freundliches Personal. Als Gast im Selina bekommt man 20% Rabatt im Beachclub Mia. Saubere Gemeinschaftsduschen und direkt am Strand. Jederzeit wieder! Mit Abstand die günstigste Unterkunft mit bestem Preis Leistungsverhältnis am Tulum Beach.

Hat nichts mit der Unterkunft zu tun, aber man ist auf ein Auto dort angewiesen weil die Distanzen zu lang sind. Taxi ist unverhältnismäßig teuer. Aus Erzählungen wurde uns erzählt, dass man für eine 8 Minuten Fahrt mindestens 35€ zahlt.

Las habitaciones huelen mucho a humedad y el baño a caño. La caja de seguridad no servía. Aunque el Mía Beach Club no pertenece al hotel, tienen mal servicio a los huéspedes. Abusan en el cobro de propinas.

La posibilidad de conocer personas y poder compartir los momentos en el hotel. Hotel grande amplio y comodo en general. La playa muy buena, No tuvimos sargazo en enero 2024.

Pocos camastros en playa para huespedes de selina. Medio poco el desayuno incluido, la fruta muy poquita. Podrían aumentar el tamaño de los platos.

Rooms cleaned just 1 time in 7 days. But if you ask the staff, they come immediately to you and clean it. Staff very slow. (But Its a Latin America thing, they are relaxed in nature, you will get used to it by time haha)

Si tu idea es estar dentro de una discoteca con música a todo volumen desde las 11 de la mañana hasta las dos de la madrugada del día siguiente es tu lugar. Si quieres disfrutar la playa y descansar, busca otro sitio. En realidad es un bar de playa con música a todo volumen con un hotel alrededor. El 90 por ciento de la playa está destinada al bar. Para los huéspedes quedan dos esquinas pequeñas a los lados.

Absolutely nothing. Worst experience of my life. No hot water, dirty hotel, dirty room. I had to clean the bathroom before going myself. They even locked me out one day before checking out. NOT RECOMMENDED DO NOT GO.

The price is over expensive and the hotel is in poor conditions. Horrible food, no hot water, people checking out. The staff insinuated that I should be thanking them because they were able to move me from Seline Tulum

Limpieza, cero preocupación por el aseo en las habitaciones, no lo realizaban habitualmente, todos los días el Beach Club con la música muy alta, por las noches fiestas en Mia que no permiten descansar y dormir

The breakfast was quite good. Tulums beach is beautiful.

We rented a tippie with nothing but a bed and AC inside for a considerable price for Mexico. When we got there we learned that 1) You can t just lie on hotels beach beds unless you pay a sum starting from 2000 mx and higher. 2) We can t attend Selinas own parties unless we pay 1500 mx! Though it s stated on Selinas own billboard that guests have access to events. 3) A simple Margarita and a beer costed 400 mx. 4) When you are there you re in fact locked in a long line of closed communities and you can only come to the beach through your own hotels passage. It s far from the town and the ruins, taxis also want crazy prices (like 600 mx to get us to the Tulum pyramids). I say, it s a TRAP like maybe all the other hotels neaby. It s crowded by influencers and people that don t count their money. I live in Stockholm and am used to high prices but this was over the top. We just wanted to see Tulums beautiful beaches and were not attracted by perfect insta-posts. 5) The worst is that you never get sleep - club music from the beach party is hammering on your head whole night. 6) The SERVICE level in the hotel: I had to ask 3 times for towels, 3 times the same person at the reception.
