This was our second time staying at this location. The building was quiet even with many 4th of July activities going on around it. The size of the 2-bedroom apartment was perfect for us. We will definitely be back!

The place was clean and very nicely updated. We traveled with three young kids and felt safe here. It’s in a great place with multiple excellent food choices right around the corner. The only thing I found misleading was that the laundry is not in unit, but is coin operated in the basement. That said, the machines worked well and we used them multiple times. Thanks for a great place to stay!

This was a great location to be close to restaurants, or any other needs during your stay. Felt perfectly located to travel to all the surrounding attractions.. we did Kitchitipiki, Pictured Rocks, and Tahquamenon falls. Highly recommend!

Great location

We were grateful for the communication and responsiveness of the owners. We had a second-floor apartment up steps through a dark hallway with dim lighting. The apartment was adequate - clean and basic, with amenities as listed. Unfortunately, the two air conditioning units in the two bedrooms were inadequate in cooling the entire apartment. We arranged the fans to push cool air out of the bedrooms into the kitchen and living room, and that helped. However, the living room was uncomfortably warm and the bedrooms uncomfortably cool. These were unusually hot days in Munising especially for September, however, we wondered how occupants did through the hotter summer months. The A/C was inadequate and unsatisfactory. That plus the dark and dim hallway and stairs made for a just ok experience. The owners seemed very nice and responsive. We didn't complain to them about the A/C issue because we figured nothing could be done, and it was unseasonably hot. Having Lake Superior just a few blocks away, and the Pictured Rocks Cruise within walking distance was a big plus. We also enjoyed the short walk to a great little brewery.

Cozy, quiet, well taken care of apartment. We felt right at home in this place. It was perfect for the two of us.

Property was very clean and well furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Only negative was smell possibly coming from smokers in other units. Short walking to Pictured Rocks Cruises and restaurants.

The exterior of the building and hallways could be spruced up a bit but the apartment itself is in good shape. The location is great for walking to restaurants. We were very comfortable here and the on-site parking was convenient.

Spent a few days with the family seeing the picturesque Painted Rock National Lakeshore. This property was a great location to eateries and activities. I would stay here again.

Munising has grown since I was there last. This apartment has a great location, you can walk almost anywhere. Place is nice and clean. Each bedroom has an air conditioner, not central air. But we were there end of July, so they were able to keep up, and the nightly breeze is cool. We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit.

Location is perfect. Walkable to all the restaurants and shops in town. Quiet and quaint. Perfect rental for two couples.

This apartment was perfect! In the heart of everything, exactly like the pictures show and very clean. It would be perfect for anyone and was absolutely great for our family of 5. So glad we went with this instead of a hotel room (or rooms). I can't recommend this apartment enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Munising and this apartment really added to it!

We liked the location, cleanliness and extra space for our family of 4 in this apartment. We could walk to everything in town. The building is older, buy kept up in good condition. It was also nice to be able to wash laundry.

The apartment was the perfect size for 4 adults. The location was perfect for walking downtown. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at this apt in Munising. It was super clean, was exactly as shown in pictures, had everything we needed, & was right in town (so walking my couple of miles each morning was handy!) You do get your exercise also carrying in your stuff, as there is no elevator. Would stay here again if back in area.

Highly recommnded. We stayed for three nights. The unit was newly remodeled in 2019 and has been taken care of since. It's very clean! The beds and couches are comfortable. The linens and towels are good quality. The heat works great! The location is convenient for walking around town. Grocery store within a few minutes walk. Options for pasties, icecream, burgers, cofee and more equally close. The host Amanda answers questions quickly. The unit was ready early and we were notified automatically (That was nice!). It has a good selection of pots and pans. It has a Keurig and a coffee pot. Overall, a very good deal for the price!! The only down side, Saturday night, there were occassional group of happy noisy people leaving the Barge Inn bar down the road. But Friday and Sunday it was quiet. The unit is in an apartment building, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But the tenants are very quiet and smoking is not allowed! Improvements I could see would be having some form of ground coffee or pods for the guests. I know, I'm spoiled... Also, having a cutting knife and proper cutting board would be good (It has steak knives, a small thin cutting board, and a glass serving board, but nothing good for cutting fruits/veggies to eat/cook)..... Don't let my suggestions discourage you! For Munising, this is a great option! We'd come again.

Older apartment but updated and clean. Well equipped with everything we needed. Beds are pretty firm. Very quiet building. Great location! Close to grocery store, Dairy Queen and nearby attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is ideally located downtown. We barely had to drive anywhere. The owners were great and responded to whatever questions we had.

This is a great little apartment in Munising. Apartment is very nicely remodeled, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to everything in town. Our only issues were with the apartment building itself and the smoke smell from the unit underneath this one. There was a VERY strong air freshener smell in the common hallway to cover up the smoke smell, but it was still prevalent in the apartment. My husband and I are both very sensitive to strong odors and would not have been able to stay here except for the fact that the weather was beautiful and we could leave all the windows open and the fans blowing. This was the only draw back and if you aren't sensitive to smells then this is the perfect location for a northern Michigan getaway!

This was a great find for us! Centrally located to all that we were interested in doing. Well stocked with dishes etc. Quiet building and neighborhood. Grocery store right across the street!

Close to downtown

This clean, 2BR, 1 BA apartment was ideally located. There is a grocery store across the street and a DQ behind the parking lot. You can reach everything in this quaint lakeside town on foot if desired. MANY waterfalls, lighthouses and hiking trails are just a short distance away, not to mention the majestic Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The apartment itself has everything you’ll need and Amanda responds quickly to any questions you may have. We would definitely come back!

This place was perfect for our family of five to use as a base for our time in the Munising area! We were able to go out for adventures during the day and had a clean, quiet, place to come back to for the evening and slept great!

This was a great location, walkable to so many restaurants and an easy drive to many hiking trails. Property was very cute and clean. Property owner was great with communicating.

The snow made parking a little interesting, but that’s how snow is….. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We were glad to have a nice place to stay while visiting relatives.

The apartment is in the heart of town with a smaller parking lot but the owners of the VRBO live a mile or so away RIGHT on the trail with a large area to keep your trailer very easy and fast to go from apartment to sled and ride anywhere you please, this was our second time staying here and will definitely stay here again

Stayed here this summer, came back up to see the fall color—this is a great little apartment, very clean and comfortable, convenient to downtown and lots of conveniences. I will definitely stay again!

Very clean apt. Stayed here to tour the UP. Very centrally located in Munising. Walkable to restaurants and to the boat docking area. Well appointed kitchen, even though we just did breakfast in the apt. Literally across the street from the grocery. Beds very comfortable. Would highly recommend.
