Absolutely lovely inn. very clean, staff very welcoming. Comfortable beds, coffee provided free of charge. Two bottles of water a day. Daily housekeeping. Newer hotel, bathrooms small, but great shower.

Located a little far from train stations and sites. But buses are available closer.

The location is amazing, in the best place to be where it's not super crowded but it's close enough to start walking and visiting the temples. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable.

I think the price was not exactly cheap for what's offered, there are no breakfast or amenities. Well, they do have a shared microwave. Walking around we found other places that would offer best prices in the same region. Don't get me wrong, it's a good accommodation, I just think it should be cheaper.

Location, however we thought we were returning to Kyoto inn Gion the first one. But in the end it was even nicer than the original one we stayed at in 2018. It was in a quiet area and easy to get to shijo dori. The staff were so kind and helpful.

That they didn’t do breakfasts like we had in 2018. It’s nice to stay at an accommodation that supplies breakfast, just an extra touch.

Short walking distance to the main streets and attractions in Gion, but still tucked away enough to be quiet. Appreciated the free amenities including pyjamas, bottled water/tea, toothbrush, and more.

Just about everything. I liked the short recommendations of places to eat and drink. They were all excellent.

I tried walking from the station at night with a low phone battery. I had no idea how hard a place to find it was. I was saved by some people who coincidentally were also staring at the hotel. The hotel really needs to say please follow our instructions this place is hard to find. There is an easy way but it took me two days to find it! But wandering around the back streets of Gion is fun.

The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The location is amazing.

Check-in process was smooth and they graciously kept our luggage before and after our check-in/check-out. Also, they had good collection of free tea and coffee which we loved. The bus stop is just 100m from the property and travelling in bus is a better option in Kyoto, although it gets crowded. The station is around 800m, but it is easy to walk from there as well. A lot of temples are just in walkable distance(<=500m) from the hotel. The room was comfortable and if you are looking to stay in Gion, choose this one. They provide you details of nearby restaurants, which is really sweet.

I liked everything here! <3 <3 But may be they can prepare a map with all the nearby tourist locations. This property is really close to lot of places we wanted to visit, and every time we figured that we are always near to our hotel :D
