This was a fantastic hotel. Location was great and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would recommend the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Good location just off the promenade. Decent breakfast.

Old building with very narrow corridors and stairwells which felt a little claustrophobic. One of the windows in our room didn't open and on a summer's night it felt uncomfortably warm.

A lovely hotel with the friendliest staff I have ever met, who could not do enough to ensure that your stay was great. The food and service was excellent in the restaurant. I will definately being staying here next time I visit the IOM.

Great hotel, breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and all products of good high quality. Also very important to me is their coffee machine was excellent, it was a fresh bean to cup machine which is a must for me these days and the hotel excelled with their coffee. Staff were excellent and very friendly, always there to help and assist in anyway. I was there for TT and the location of the hotel is excellent for walking to the pits as only a short walk up the hill so this was really handy, I will most definitely be visiting again in the future.

Not a fault of the hotel but the seagulls are a pain as very loud at 04:00 so my sleep was disrupted most mornings. I noticed in Douglas that these rats of the sky seem to take up residence on a lot peoples rooftops so maybe earplugs would’ve helped.

The location the staff were lovely. Value for money.

There was a bad smell in the bathroom that wouldn't go away we had to keep the door closed so the smell wouldn't be so bad in the bedroom. And you couldn't open a window in the bathroom.

Breakfast and evening meal at the restaurant where outstanding.

The best place to stay by far! As soon as I arrived I was greeted and welcomed by the very cheerful helpful staff.Throughout my stay I felt well looked after,treated like a king.got on great with all the lovely staff.The room and facilities are excellent,very comfy stay.The dining area is amaculate,the breakfasts are a dream.I highly recommend anyone with good taste to stay at this hotel.For the price I was delighted and got far more than I expected.👍🏼

I liked everything about this hotel. Recommend to everyone who reads these reviews, budget price but high end service. No budget hotel competes with the Ascot. As good as mid price hotels. Breakfast better than top end hotels.

breakfast was a very high standard and cooked to my exact requirements . For excellent service and value for money the ascot is a great place for a relaxing break . The evening meals are also top quality and at a exceptionally good price
