The apartment was perfect for one person. I felt very safe, and it was a very quiet and private flat. The kitchen had everything I needed (thank you for the microwave!), and a grocery store was five minutes away. The location was fantastic, as I could walk to most of the tourist destinations I wanted to see. The business owner went above and beyond, booking a tour to Kolsai and Kandai Lakes for me and then driving me to and from the pickup location for the bus. Although there was no washing machine in this particular apartment, the business offered a reasonably priced laundry service, and my clothes were returned within 24 hours, clean and ironed.
There was no washing machine, but I didn't ask about one. It was a minor inconvenience. Lessor Apartments has flats with washing machines, and I will request one of them next time.

The location, the apartment, the facilities and the helpful staff. The host responded to all my queries and messages instantly. They even placed presents in the apartment after noticing that it was my birthday. Such a heart warming touch.
The security code for the gates were an issue for us as it wasn't working multiple times and even the host couldn't help us even though he tried. We had to wait for other people to pass at night so that we can enter.

The owner Sam was very helpful when I asked him about the tours in Almaty and transportation to Bishkek. The apartment is very clean and very close to the center. Thank you so much Sam.

Great apartment, spacious, comfortable, and clean, with wonderful, friendly and courteous hosts. Communication was clear, check-in was easy, and the hosts were very responsive to any issues or requests (ex quickly fixing the WiFi on the first day). The kitchen is well supplied with everything needed, and many shops are nearby. The location is perfect, central, and right next to the lovely walking street. This could be a disadvantage for some, as the windows look out onto a busy area. But I found it fun and immersive, and I think most would share that opinion. The blinds offer good privacy, day or night, and it is well sound proofed. I highly recommend, and hope to stay again!

The staff were very rude!
So we were late to check in (by about 30 mins so not even that long) as we had an issue getting money out of the ATM to pay taxi driver so we had to go to multiple ATMs. Which was stressful and not something we could foresee. Also I didn’t have local SIM card so was difficult to contact them but I used my English data which will cost me lots of money.
When we got there the staff were extremely rude from the beginning, they didn’t ask why we were late or if we were okay. The man, maybe the owner, was sending messages that were so unprofessional it was unbelievable.
May I suggest they start self- check in with key and lock box because obviously check in is not there strong point.
Then when I was booking airport transfer, the guy was being really cryptic. Sent me messages that had been crossed out saying, ‘maybe you should get to the airport at this time’ … and then ‘actually forget it’. Basically trying to make me think I’ve booked the transfer too late and we would miss our flight etc. He was very unfriendly and unhelpful, I honestly couldn’t believe it.
Would not stay here again.

Very organized staff, responsive communication, location is AMAZING! Internet is fast enough for work video calls. Large room.
As it is an apartment (and not a hotel) it would be good if they have a few more basics (especially since people are booking an apartment and not a hotel) - toilet paper, oil for cooking, etc, bath liquid soap, etc. I wouldn't expect these things in a hotel but i do expect a bit more basic supplies in an apartment and that's been the case every other apartment i stayed in. However, would stay again

Good position to visit the city
We talked only by phone with director, friendly and professional. But the lady who gave us the key was really very unfriendly. Room couldn’t be cleaner and more comfortable (i.e. 1 toilet paper for two people and 5 nights... 1 old towel each...) But most of all: the building!! Very very old and dirty (look at photos!)
