The location and good value for money for a family wanting to go for a holiday or weekend getaway in Melbourne

Didn't have microwave in one of the rooms , couldn't fill the kettle in the small sink. The restaurant couldn't do room service and payments not linked to the hotel .other than that its still good , location is good and walking distance to everything. We use menu log most of the time

A spacious, clean, comfortable and well-designed room with views at tree level to interesting architecture - the last hotel I stayed in on Spencer St just had views to highrises. The reception staff were very friendly, well-informed and helpful, I especially appreciated being able to store one of my cases there. I came by train and even with two heavy cases, the Hotel was in easy walking distance. Good wifi, great to have a desk, interesting artwork and good to have the option of a restaurant onsite.

I really enjoyed staying here, the only thing was the rather minimal sound proofing, so I did get some bathroom noises in the night and the people staying above me, I was in Room 424, came in very late and clomped around until dawn - it was pre a cup final weekend.

The room had everything we needed, the location was perfect with easy access to trams. Check in was quick and easy. Kids loved breaky!

It’s was my second time staying here. First time was great. This time I got a room backing onto a road. I could hear traffic at night and had to turn on the heater all night to drown out the noise. This time I could only access my room by going up and down stairs, last time it was the elevator. I wish I had got the room I had last time.
