Located on a very verge of the highland. What makes this place exceptional are truly awesome views from the terrace which was right at front of our room and the adjacent breakfast terrace. From the tea fields right below the perspective continues to the vast expanse of lower hills, plains and lakes in the distance, towards the southern coast. In addition from the "wow effect" caused by the views everything else was in perfect order. The hosts were very friendly, our room was comfortable, the breakfast tasty. It is a short walking distance from the train station and town centre, although part of it is quite steep. Finally, we so much enjoyed the low-key character and local life of Haputale compared to over-touristed and noisy Ella.

WC-Spülung schwach und man benötigt einen Steckdosenadapter. Die haben noch die alten südafrikanischen Steckdosen. Außerdem war der Vorhang vor der Tür umständlich und man blieb an der Türverriegelung hängen.

Comfortable and clean room with beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious and staff were very nice.

Very nice host and they really know how to cook. They are offering a cocking classes soon. There is a little construction going on which will be finished starting of February. We stayed their only one night on a sunny day. The view from the balcony is marvelous

The people was very kindly, help us in everything that we need. He arrenge us all the transports and give us good advices. If you stay here, book the dinner, the best Rice&Curry we have in all SriLanka

Don't have upper sheet in the bed, and It is a cold and wet location.
