My parents, two kids, and I stayed in the Nook for one night in July. It was the perfect size for our group for one night. The adults slept upstairs and the kids shared the nook bed, which they thought was awesome. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfy, and the town of Talkeetna is minutes away! Would definitely stay here again if we're ever lucky enough to visit the area again! Great stay!

This was a large downstairs with a little nook bedroom and a loft area with two beds. We loved it. There was a full book with all the fun of Talkeetna had to offer plus that awesome bear shortcut to town. Loved, loved, loved it
But ..If you can't sleep with noise, snorers beware. You hear them... But I felt it just added to the charm.
Would definitely book again!

The Nook was a good place to stay for a night in Talkeetna. The bed was comfortable and the property was interesting...we might have used the fire circle if we had planned a longer stay.

The layout of the property, with the other buildings was spacious and the trees.
The nook in the main room is what I was looking much forward to. That was so cozy and comfy! The whole unit was great and two beds upstairs. Their were two girls helping around the property and helped us with the bbq and chairs, thank-you! Wish we got your names. Would love to stay there again!

Great place to stay in Talkeetna! Property is well taken care of, our unit was clean and well-equipped, had no noise from other guests, and the owners were very prompt with communications (we had a few). If you don't have a car then be prepared to walk a few blocks to town. There's a shortcut "bear trail" but you need waterproof shoes/boots if it's been rainy like it was for us.

Talkeetna is a great town far enough away from the hustle an bustle of the big towns but still close enough if you have to run into town for things . There’s so much to see an do there with all the tours an you can also just set out on your own hikes an self guided trips to your own destinations of choice. Possibility’s are endless when you come to a paradise like this

Small cabin but had everything a family of 4 needed for one night stay. Cabin was clean and the nook was a nice feature that our 17-year-old daughter enjoyed.

Cozy, sweetly decorated little house with very fun board game. We walked a few blocks into town for dinner on dirt roads among gorgeous trees in fall colors.

The cabins have everything you need. It is quiet, tucked back in the woods, and very close to all the area attractions. The Nook had nice amenities and was just as described. Communication was great. We enjoyed or brief stay and would definitely recommend. Thanks!

Well, it is a cabin, rather small, nothing fancy.
It seems it is time for some refreshing. Basic amenities only however they are getting old. Painting could help.
Quiet neighborhood, about 15 min walk to downtown.

This place was great. Very clean. We asked for an early check in. The communication with the property manager was EXCELLENT! The unit was a little bit smaller than expected, but still quite comfortable. Our only drawback was that there wasn’t a laundry area, and I really needed o do laundry ! Other then that I would recommend staying here.

Easy to find, quiet, lots of hot water for successive showers, it gave us all a little breathing room after hotel. Pillows could use a refresh, otherwise everything was lovely. Everyone raved about shower, they’re tall people.

Convenient Lodging
We had an excellent time. We stayed in the nook, and it was very charming. We live in Anchorage and plan on returning and staying there throughout the year. We’re hoping to check out the different cabins available on the property. I would highly recommend it to friends and already have.

The location is quiet; perfect if you have bikes or can drive into town. Despite the unusually high temperatures, there is plenty of airflow with the windows and fans to be comfortable in the cabin.
