This was a great stay. We got a rideshare to walmart approx 3 miles away. We did a Gatorade run. It is located a few blocks from Armstrong Park. The wifi was really good. My friend video chat with toddler and we streamed movies until we fell asleep. We left the shutters closed which made it so great for day sleeping. Visit Bijou good food cheap. Great value and charm!!

We had a wonderful stay at Eric’s place in Treme. You couldn’t ask for a better location - within walking distance of multiple excellent coffee and breakfast spots, and a 10-15min walk to the French Quarter. Yet it’s in the Goldilocks zone where it’s nice and quiet in the evenings. The house was lovely, and the back courtyard area was *chef’s kiss*. Check-in was a breeze, and Eric was a great host - accessible and close by. But the place was well stocked so we didn’t have to bug him at all. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to NOLA.

The place was as described and had everthing you needed for a short stay. Check in was no problem.. Location was great an easy walk to anything in the Quarter.

The property was as advertised. Clean and well equipped. The back yard is lovely and we sat out there every morning and evening. We loved the neighborhood and the the people were very friendly. We were able to walk everywhere and dined like kings. I had never stayed in Treme before but will definitely stay there again.

Very nicely decorated and comfortable Creole Cottage in Treme, just two blocks to the French Quarter, and a short walk to Marigny and the CBD. I have visited New Orleans many times but this was my first time staying in Treme and I would definitely stay there again. This unit is shared with another larger one next door. Behind the home is a lovely courtyard where we had morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Communications with the owner were pleasant and helpful.

Eric is very responsive and allowed us to be flexible with our dates! We appreciated that so much!! The location is perfect for visiting New Orleans. You can walk to most things. Hoping New Orleans, as a whole, gets back up & running soon post Ida. We want to go back sometime so we can fully enjoy what New Orleans has to offer. Thank you Eric!!

So enjoyed staying at the the cozy cottage! Beautiful property and such a great location so close to the French Quarter! Eric was such a great host, very attentive! My heart goes out to the people of New Orleans and Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida! God speed to all those impacted!

We loved trekking afoot from this sweet abode. Not ideal for kids, nor heavy drinkers afoot, as must be VERY careful crossing Rampart St at any hour: Fast cars on thoroughfares do NOT yield to pedestrians. Get FANTASTIC FRESH JUICE & Smoothies, etc. at Sprouts, a few doors away at Gov. Nichols intersection.

This was a very cute Cajun cottage just a few blocks away from the French Quarter. Many restaurants close by. I would recommend this VRBO for anyone staying in New Orleans.

Lovely little house perfectly located just outside of the French Quarter. Outside space is fantastic, quiet location a short walk to FQ, perfect for a visit during Mardis Gras. Eric was very helpful and responded very quickly to all communications and provided excellent recommendations of things to do. Would definitely return.

Enjoyable. Small and quaint but on point. Very responsible management. They get the little things right, a case of water was on the table knowing how hot it is in August and July.

The cottage was quaint, quite & romantic. My husband and really enjoyed our evenings in the courtyard. The neighbors are friendly, and pretty quite. The home is located across from a church Where experienced a second line parade for a funeral. Eric is quick to respond to emails & has great suggestions for restaurants & surrounding activities.

Our stay in Treme was wonderful. The location was within walkin distance to the French Quarter and less than a 10 minute ride to the Superdome. There were tons of small coffee shops nearby and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

We were looking for a place to stay with an authentic feel to the area and this was it! Super cute and clean. Loved sitting on the back patio in the evenings. It was just a short walk to the French Quarter. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and would highly recommend this property. The cottage itself is charming, and the location near the French Quarter is great. The bed is comfortable, there's lots of hot water, and my husband enjoyed sitting in the courtyard with his morning coffee. There was plenty of street parking, and it was very close to the streetcar. We also used Uber and found that response time was very fast. Eric was super-responsive to our communication and was very helpful.

This adorable property was walkable to many areas, had updated furniture and all the things we look for to be comfortable while out of town. However, the courtyard which is shared with the cottage next door became home to 2 women who would chain smoke, talk and cackle LOUDLY at 4am which was a bummer. I assume this was just the luck of the draw and overall it would not scare us away from staying there again.

The house was neat, clean and within walking distance of the French Quarter (12 blocks of walking was the distance to most of it and the tourist section) We made good use of the courtyard - had coffee in the morning, glass of wine in the evenings. Only drawback was the dogs that are 2 houses away. They bark at all times of the morning and evening - whenever the owner is away.

Eric was a wonderful host! The cottage is adorable. Close to everything and yet quiet. Took walks to fine dining and jazz clubs. We were in for a conference and this was the perfect escape at the end of long workdays. We cannot say enough good things about Eric or the cottage. He was exceptional from beginning to end. If you want to experience NOLA living, but have a quiet outdoor retreat as well, this is the place for you. Thank you, Eric!

Eric is an incredible host. He responds to questions at lightening speed and goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort of his guests. The cottage is lovely, well-kept, and has everything you'd need for a relaxing stay. It's also conveniently located: just a quick walk to the center of the Quarter and tucked inside an authentic neighborhood (the nearby restaurant/bar Buffa's offers some incredible local music). The entire experience was top-notch. We give Eric and his cottage our highest recommendation!

My husband and I stayed here for our 15th Wedding Anniversary and we had an amazing time! Eric had everything ready for us and it was easy access to all the restaurants and bars. We rented a car and had a place to park right in front of the house. The accommodations were fantastic! We will be back for sure!

The place was perfect for my husband and I. Having the full kitchen was really nice. The house is close to everything as well. Having a parking on the same street for no charge was really great too. My only complaint (and this has nothing to do with the owner) is the dogs down the road would bark constantly starting at about 7:00am until about 9:00pm. So if you plan to spend any time in the house be aware of that.

Really loved our stay. After wandering around the French Quarter, we were doubly happy we chose this spot.

The unit is gorgeous and exactly as it looks in the pictures. All of the comforts of home in a great location within easy walking distance of the French Quarter. The weather was quite chilly when we were there (January) so we didn’t get to take advantage of the courtyard, but it was very inviting and festooned with white lights that come on at dark. One thing to keep in mind is that there is a unit right next door (same building) that shares the courtyard. The guests there were night owls while we were not, so we were woken up by the sounds of them arriving home and continuing the NOLA fun with music etc until the wee hours of the morning (4-5am). We didn’t want to create any drama with them, so didn’t say anything to Eric until our stay was over. In retrospect though, I wish we had said something earlier so that we could’ve had a more enjoyable time (and gotten more sleep). The place is great and I’d love to stay again, but would want to travel with another couple or bigger group so we could rent both units and avoid the risk of ending up with noisy neighbors again.

Communication was top notch. House was very cute and super clean. We will stay here again and have already had friends request info regarding this VRBO. I have been lovingly accused of being OCD and this place was impeccable.

This place was perfect for our girls trip. It comfortably housed three of us. We loved that it was within walking distance of the French Quarter but far enough away to get away from the noise if we wanted. Only a few blocks from a couple of our favorite restaurants and bars, like Lafitte’s and Cafe Amelie. Our favorite house feature was the courtyard, where we spent our later evenings drinking cocktails, and our mornings having coffee. The TV was nice to have after a long day of walking and touring, when we needed relax and zone out to a show. We also loved having a washer and dryer, so we didn’t have to pack so much for the trip and could just wash and rewear. Eric was very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
