Everything!! Very quirky decor and the rooms were very clean . We brought our small dog and he was well catered for too, I used the free dog wash which was a fantastic touch and this was very high standard . The free coffee all day and then cake at 4 o’clock was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing that the hotel could do about this but the seagulls were so so noisy on the buildings surrounding this hotel so bring some earplugs . This would definitely not stop me going to this wonderful hotel again though.

Superb location……..beautiful view from our window and straight out onto the Cleveland Way which is a wonderful walk. Decor was lovely and quirky. Very comfortable extra large bed. Good breakfast and restaurant on site. Fabulous stay and will definitely return.

A few things in the room hadn’t been cleaned properly.

The facilities and ease of being able to take our Labrador anywhere in the hotel. We had evening dinner at the hotel and our dog accompanied us into the restaurant. The food was excellent. Didn’t have breakfast as it’s a continental type breakfast which is ok now and again. The dog cleaning/showering/grooming area is in the basement accessed via a few steps outside. It’s amazing, warm , clean and spacious. There is a small footbridge over the side road which accesses pedestrian glen type walking areas for the dog.

an interesting experience. Room in the annex, small and bijou is what i'd call it. Shower teeny and tricky if you were larger. View of back alley brick wall not so nice, decor ecletic and definitely a little tatty around the edges. Did not like the sink - who's idea was it to have one so low??? Shaving was a faff in this situation - proper sinks please!! Some odd but nice touches, fresh milk a joy for coffee and tea, bed comfy, room warm. But no wardrobe - I mean come on. But then an iron. So a mixed bag. Breakfast so so - not the best at the price by far, but then the location looking out at the sea to work quietly is excellent. So confused about some of the ideas. But overall ok...

room cramped, no wardrobe, grotty shower, daft sink, hallucinogenic trip inducing carpet. sad luke warm breakfast... Did not feel as spring fresh as I would have liked in the main rooms...

Excellent staff, really dog friendly, breakfast was very nice even though not full traditional hot, great location and very comfortable bed , overall was lovely stay with my dog, will definitely return!

I’d prefer to check in at traditional reception desk instead of using machines although staff were there to assist
