The rental is all about location 10 minutes from the centre of Penticton, right on the lake with your own private beach. House was comfortable and supports larger groups easily.

The view and location here are absolutely stunning! Close to town and wineries. Plenty of comfy seats inside and outside on the private beach area. Would highly recommend! Was peaceful and relaxing with the added bonus of kayak and paddle boards was fun!

I stayed in this property for 4 nights with three friends. Great location on the lake, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and easy communication with the owner. Overall would totally recommend this home away from home.

We had an amazing stay at the lake house. It was wonderful for our family of 5 adults and 2 children . So spacious, sooo well equipped, and soooo beautiful. There was everything you could possibly need. It was perfect for us. Everyone loved our time there. We wish it could have been longer. Thank you so very much for having us.

The property was as beautiful as described. Access and communication with host was excellent. A little difficulty with parking at first because we had 2 pick-ups and the driveway is on a bend in the highway, but we figured it out. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful beachside home.

We all loved this house so incredibly much. Parking space for everyone, everything we needed and more, and just the best view/outside chilling area. The decor was also top notch!! We will be booking again.

Had a great time with the family. Each enjoyed there own rooms and wash facilities. a place for family and friends to enjoy the good times, the dining table large to fit all. Just like home! Everything was clean, except for one room, the sheets smelled sour, indication they were left in the washing machine too long before they hit the drier. Suggest remove from washing machine immediately.

It was a perfect little oasis. My family had an enjoyable get away weekend. There was plenty of room for all of us. Was impressed with the supplies the house had,ex.. ( dishes, cutlery, pans pots etc. would like to return!

We were 4 couples staying in Penticton for a mountain bike trip in Oct. There was lots of room for us all. And our bikes were stored safely in the garage. We particularly liked the beach area with firepit in the evenings. It was a fun weekend and the house and property set the tone.

Great place for a small family get together (3 couples) and so nice that pets are permitted. The location is convenient and the view and outdoor space are fabulous! Lots of seating in living area which is something we often find lacking in vacation rentals. Can definitely tell it’s been well used and is due for a refresh, but comfortable. One suggestion…Someone might want to take a look at the dishwasher as the pods never fully dissolved and there was always some food bits left, no matter which cycle we tried. Overall a great time and we’ll be watching to see what it looks like when the reno is done! Thanks!

Perfect family get away!

Great Girl Trip House
Myself and 3 friends travelled from Alberta for some wine tasting in the Okanagan. Very beautiful beach front and sun set . Plenty of room for 4 girls .Great kitchen with everything you’ll need.Comfortable living room and dining room and good WiFi.

A very comfortable and well equipped lake front home!
We really enjoyed our five nights at Sunshine Lakeside Home. There were five adults and we had plenty of space! Very well equipped with everything that you need when you are away from home, especially kitchen! The beds are firm but most found them comfortable. Beautiful views and we really enjoyed the outdoor space including beach. Seems very safe for children too. Easy access to Penticton services. Appreciated timely communication with owner. We all agreed that we would happily stay there again!

Restful retreat
We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunshine lakehouse! Lots of space to relax and enjoy a few days away! This beachfront property was ideal for our family of five (with adult children). Kathy was quick to respond if we had any questions. We really enjoyed our stay, just wish it was longer!

Very Comfortable
We had a great time, the house is very comfortable and the decks , yard and beach provided everything we needed to enjoy our lakeside holiday. The water is warm but shallow for a long way out but was good for us with small kids.

Our stay at the beach house on Skaha Lake
We loved our stay in July 2019 at the beach property on Skaha Lake. The property was even better than the photos. It is in a beautiful location and the layout worked very well for the 7 family members. The house was stocked with absolutely every thing we needed. The property manager was very easy to talk to and answered my emails quickly. We would definitely recommend this lovely property.

Great spot for a family vacation
Kathy was very fast to respond to any of my questions. The property was well appointed with just about anything that we needed. The lake access and backyard were great for our family, the water is quite shallow which was great for the kids. The house feels very private even though there are neighbours on both sides. Also, it is a quick drive to town in the event that you forget that one key ingredient.

Spectacular beach location
Great house in which to enjoy the beach and Skaha Lake. The layout is perfect for two families as the living area above the garage offers some privacy when desired. Enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and the fire pit. We plan on renting it again!

Gorgeous family vacation home!
This place was fantastic!
Location was great for access to Skaha Bluffs and lake were perfect. It had a very child safe set up and lots of room to play. The home had everything we needed.
The only thing I would improve would be the initial access into the property as there was a timing error for check in. Thankfully, the owners were amazing and swift with responding to communication and we were able to get in a little later than planned.
We’re already looking forward to planning our next trip back! Thank you for the amazing opportunity!

Wonderful place to relax
Although the vacation rental house was used primarily for relaxing in the evening and sleep accommodation, the setting was beautiful, even in the November off season. The vacation rental accommodated guests from Norway, only a short distance from the hosts own home, and each guest was impressed by the clean, modern and scenic environment. All was as advertised, and tastefully furnished.

Great house, beautiful location!
Lovely home write on the lake. Nice open kitchen, dining, and living area for group or family dinners. Well stocked with games and water toys. Only thing missing is a stereo so be sure to bring your own portable one. Hot tub would also be an incredible addition to the deck! I might ask to move in though. :-)

GREAT ESCAPE
My husband and I along with another couple had the pleasure of staying at the Sunshine house this past spring. The house was perfectly set up for sharing with two bedrooms in the main part of the house and a two bedroom suite above the garage. We were able to enjoy each other’s company but still have some privacy and our own washroom. The house was very well stocked with dishes and cooking basics, comfortable and easy to maintain. The garage was a welcome addition for storing our golf clubs, bikes, coolers etc. The deck, overlooking the lake, provided many hours of relaxation on sunny afternoons. It was not unusual to see deer, quail, ducks and geese in the yard or while walking the dog.
There were so many opportunities for day trips and activities in this area that it is impossible to mention them all. The house is located at the base of the Skaha Bluffs which is a popular spot for hiking. It is just a short distance to Penticton and Naramata where we enjoyed biking and hiking along the KVR trail, visiting local wineries and restaurants such as Hill Side Estate. There is a walkway that runs along the south end of Okanagan Lake that encompasses an art gallery, Japanese Garden, marina, casino, parks and some unique spots to grab a lunch or coffee as well as a well maintained beach. Further east, The Bench restaurant was a favorite spot for tourists and locals alike. Closer to the house, Skaha Park (a favourite with our dog) has tennis courts, picnic tables, play grounds and washrooms. There are several golf courses in the vicinity but we only went on two courses: Twin Lakes and Skaha Meadows. Skaha Meadows is the closest and is open year round. It did not seem to matter where we drove, the vistas were amazing. The hour drive down to Osoyoos was very scenic and provided more opportunities to visit wineries and site see.
Everyone in our group had a wonderful vacation and really appreciated having such a nice place to stay.

Great spot!
We really enjoyed our stay and Kathy went the extra mile to make sure everything worked out. It is nice to work with such a responsive owner. This property is well kept and is very pet-friendly including a fenced back yard which is pretty hard to find. There was also a wonderful garden while we were there. Grapes were sweet and we enjoyed the Chard and beets and the grandchildren took home some pumpkins. It is also very close to a park with great hiking. Also, had a great wine tasting at Pentage 5 minutes up the road. This property would also be great for two families as 2 of the bedrooms have their own wing and bathroom. Highly recommended!

Great House, Great Location !
We stayed for the Labour Day weekend with family visiting from overseas. The house has been furnished very comfortably, the three bathrooms with the three bedrooms were perfect for us to have our own space and the layout works well.
Outside the rear yard is super and the views really lovely. The fence to close off access the lake was useful too when we wanted the pooch to have 'time-out' from playing in the lake :)
We have visited the area every year for many years to visit the wineries and the location is perfect for both the Naramata Bench along with the many located towards Okanagan Falls, Oliver and Osoyoos.
We definitely have this home on the list for our 2016 visit !

Hockey Camp Getaway
This was our first time renting a house for a vacation so we didn't know what to expect. However everything exceeded our expectations . We were greeted with open arms from the new owners and given the run down of the property.
This house was very easy to find and is very close to a low key marina with rentals and a great restaurant where you can beach your boat ( don't forget your shirt and sandals ) . We launched our boat the day we arrived and left it in the water during our stay in the provided bouy.
The house is beautifully furnished and is very well stocked and suited a family of 5 with teenagers drama free !
It was great waking up every day to lake skaha and walking out onto the deck to eat breakfast and then take 5 steps down onto the beach .
The location is great- close to winery's, downtown and Hockey school!
