Very well situated within the town. Just a short walk into the town and the esplanade to restaurants and shops. Lovely park opposite, really enjoyed the live band on the weekends.
Great apartment with everything you could need should you want to self cater. Has washing machine, dishwasher, iron etc for longer stays.
Beautiful garden and nice and quiet.
Checking in process was sent prior to stay by David and included a link to a video showing the property and instructions/directions to keys and room. He also offered to get a reduction in ferry crossing too. Great communication
Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again

Lovely gardens with plenty of seating. Short walk to the centre of Ventnor. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. We had a great holiday.

Fantastic location, immediately opposite Ventnor Park which leads on to wonderful walks along the coast. Walkable access to a number of dog friendly restaurants and cafes. The accommodation had everything we needed for our stay, was very comfortable, clean and really quiet. Parking was available on street and never an issue. David our host was extremely helpful and pleasant assisting with our ferry bookings, securing a significant saving, and had provided extensive local information for our stay. Would happily return.

Fantastic apartment. Perfect for a family of four with dog, lots of space to relax and chill and very functional too. Views from apartment of ventnor park was a real bonus we were not expecting. Victorian apartment featured very high ceilings and original features. This was a real treat for us as we usually stay in contemporary settings. The charm of the Victorian and space it created will be what I remember as I look back on our great time at Clarence House. Comfortable luxury, in a very classy area. Ventnor is one of the best places on the island. Nice restaurants, open spaces, and charming beach. Don’t forget to visit the Hut on the west of the island for a great dining experience.

Really good location. Easy parking outside, attractive street with a park opposite the houses, a ten minute walk to the High Street and similar to the beach (though down a steep hill, so not for everyone). Vey pleasant back garden to sit in outside our apartment.

The character of the property and decor was wonderful. Fully equipped, spotless clean and beautiful gardens.
Owners were very informative about the area, and the ferry bookings took the stress of booking ourselves away.
We loved it and didn't want to leave. Really hope to return. Definitely 5 stars and excellent value for money.

Very good location. In the hot weather the apartment was lovely and cool. Very nice,
exceptional apartment.
A little more kitchen equipment would be helpful e g a sieve and a decent pair of tongs. We found the sofa a bit hard to sit on. A little shelf by the bathroom sink would have been nice to put soap dish on, etc.

Lovely accommodation spotlessly clean. Very good location will be lovely in the summer to sit and use the garden it was heavy rain when we were there.
only feedback that is negative is the shrubbery on the walkway to the apartments is very over-grown so in the wet it was a problem as it also reduced visibility

Very comfortable and clean couldn't complain about anything
I cannot complain but have one small suggestion that would be handy, my husband gets up several times during the night and it would have been handy to have a small nightlight that he could have found his way about without disturbing me

Our hosts, David & Anna are charming and made us very welcome- offering every assistance to make sure we could enjoy our stay. They went beyond what we could have expected!
The apartment we stayed in is beautifully appointed with lots of nice touches to make our stay comfortable. Ventnor, which is coping well with the erosion of towns by ghastly ‘Retail Parks’ has some lovely independent establishments where we were made welcome and felt our custom is valued. Ventnor is also a beautiful location with its South facing aspects, fabulous walks and green spaces.

It is a large spacious flat with great facilities. The location is good although climbing back up the hill from the Esplanade after dinner was hard work!

What an absolute find! A beautifully clean apartment with ample space for 2 adults, 2 teenagers and our dog. Everything we needed and more.
The hosts were super accommodating and helpful.

Lovely gardens and terrace for sitting out at the rear.
Good easy access into town in 15 minutes.

The water pressure needs sorting and a shelf above the basin to put the soap on and things like comb or tooth brush would make all the difference.
Welcome pack was great but some breakfast tea bags as an alternative to Earl Grey would probably suit more people as Earl Grey is not everybody's cup of tea.

Perfect base to explore Isle of Wight. The apartment was very comfortable and thoughtfully set out with everything we needed and included some useful items that weren't mentioned in the description such as coffee making facilities, washer/dryer, dishwasher (with detergents), USB power plug power points & picnic bag.
The apartment is reached through a beautiful garden and the owners are super helpful, even providing a video showing where everything is on arrival.
It's a short walk along the coastal path into town, botanic gardens and Steep Cove. We loved our stay and would love to come back.

Location was great, apartment comfortable. Garden pretty. Everything you needed.
The parking - we went out everyday and found getting a parking space near the apartment difficult when we returned. The park was busy so whether people parked in Park Avenue for that and also there were roadworks which of course cannot be helped.

The owner was super helpful with all our ferry crossings - booking them at a much better rate and then helping me to urgently change them return journey when it became apparent that we needed to return home unexpectedly.
Really minor and wouldn't impact a future visit, but the parking is quite far from the apartment, up many sets of stairs
