The breakfast was of a very high standard and lots of choice

The food for both breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Great location as only a 5 minute walk down to the sea front.

Very dated, room was extremely dated and the bathroom was poor. Lack of ventilation, toilet didn’t flush very well and the hot and cold on the basin tap was round the wrong way (not so important!)

Just the location, nothing else

We had a technical issue with the basin tap at the time of check-in. The issue was there throughout our stay. We have informed the property about the same, but they didn't do anything about it. It is really very disappointing. We would need a complete refund of our stay as we are loyal customers of Booking.com. The tap was spilling through the stay and it wasn't fixed until we have checked out from the hotel

Most staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was ok but very limited choice.

A shower that leaked all over the floor! Water spilling out of the cabinet whilst I was showering. When I reported this problem in my wet dressing gown, as the phone lines were down, I was just handed towels to 'mop up' the water ourselves! The Manager of the Hotel didn't bother to check our bathroom floor when the shower blocked up and water was swimming around on the floor. This is appalling and should not happen. Not a note of apology was forthcoming, and there was not a booklet in the room to show how appliances work. The tv remote didn't work properly. There were light bulbs not working in the bathroom. Toiletries/tea/coffee/water was not replaced on a daily basis.I had to report this daily. The evening meal we believed to be cooked by the michelin star chef was overcooked, tasteless and I reported this to the bar/waiter who reduced this off my invoice.

Superb room with balcony and lovely view. All very comfortable. We also had a wonderful nouvelle cuisine meal from Matthew Tomkinson - chef - at the hotel one evening. Very expensive but well worth it!

A rather brisk approach from one of the staff when ordering breakfast. You felt you should only order very few items from the menu. Didn't seem generous considering the price paid for the accommodation.

Breakfast was great Comfortable and very large bed Large bathroom Great to have parking at the hotel (although was very tight!)

Bathroom wasn't overly clean, and bedroom, although huge, needed a couple more items in it to just fill the space.

The fact that there was fresh milk in the fridge for tea/coffee rather than the horrible stuff in little plastic pots. Breakfast was excellent. View from room/balcony would have been wonderful if the weather had been better.
