The rooftop bar is nice place to chill.

They charge you for towels, first time when this happened to me in a hostel. The bathrooms are smelly and have no hand soap. The bathrooms are not clean and the concrete style makes the place look like a prison. A bit picky on this one but those stairs steps are so steep, seems poorly executed.

Really good hostel but then I transfer to the outpost and the only advantage that I could find in here was that it was closer to the centre. Thought the bed is really comfortable and the staff is amazing

The bathrooms could have more frequent cleaning schedules. The dorms are q bit squeezed.

Hostel was great, everything you need! Reception staff very friendly! Checking was really easy. Breakfast at the rooftop was exactly what we needed. Close by main streets (walking distance)but out of the way a bit. We chose the location to be closer to the port as we were travelling there the next day! Had a private room for 2, was good. The bathrooms and toilets are very clean.

The water pressure in dorm’s shower is low, though you can go to shared bathrooms on the other floors 15min walk to the city center

Only 5 min tricycle ride from the port, very central, chic industrial style hostel. Staff was super friendly and flexible. I had some issues with the tour dates and they were very accommodating. I arrived on 4am ferry and the night reception staff let me in and I could use terrace & nod off on the sofa there. They can arrange bike rental for you with the drop off and pick up of the bike there. It’s very efficient, you can get bike in 5-10minutes. Upstairs terrace which serves as a bar/common area is very nice. Spacious bathrooms, separate male & female with a number of toilets and showers in both.

It was in a kinda good location, in the Main Street but most of the time we had to walk at least 10 min to get to somewhere interesting. The staff was kind. The price was low.

The facilities are in terrible condition. The shower and bathroom looks like a dungeon.. no hot water and very low stream. The bad was very uncomfortable, the AC remote got lost so we couldn’t control it. There was a lot of noise Not a place to meet new people as there is no vibe at all (unlike hop hostel)

It was a nice place, but they couldn't take card and nearest working atm was a bit away. However, staff and people were very lovely.

This was the first place I stayed at during my travels that had bed bugs and omg it’s horrible. Everything itches and I’ll have to throw away some of my luggage. I would already not stay again because I stayed at Bakawan before where I payed the sesame price but had free breakfast and a free towel but bed bugs are hell

Location was great-walking distance from town and also the port. Beds were comfortable.

None of the women’s showers had hot water. Locks were broken as well, so door wasn’t closed when I showered. No social vibe-so I wouldn’t recommend as a solo traveler.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Helped us organise Island hopping tours and motorcycle rental. The location was great, it was away from the main road so was a lot quieter as you couldn't hear the traffic. Great place to meet people and the bar rooftop area has a really nice chill vibe. Breakfast was also good.

The shower in the rooftop mixed dorm where we stayed wasn't great. But the showers downstairs on the next floor were lovely and available to use.
