I liked that it was off the beaten path. You got to see a different side of Iceland. It is very dark at night which could be wonderful for seeing the northern lights. I stayed in unit 2. It was perfect for 3 people.

It was the most beautiful setting that I have ever stayed at and the two units that we rented were clean and uncluttered.

It was warm, beautiful view to infinity. there is nothing around you at all. you live in a small new house, not everything around is completed yet. The house is small, but suitable for an overnight stay.

Great location, perfect hosts. We had a flat tire when we got to the property and the host went out of his way to help us fix it. Way beyond any expectations!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!! This place is highly recommended in all aspects. I will be staying here again.

This small ranch is situated somewhere halfway between Reykjavík and the glaciers. The location is a 15-20 minute ride along a gravel road from the main ring road, that gives you a lot of peace and quiet. The house is very well equipped and the owner thought of everything and makes sure to make you comfortable.

Bathroom functional but not as pretty as rest of house. Note: it is very remote and you need to buy anything you need in advance.

Getting to the ranch was a little tricky due to the extremely unpaved gravel road.

Not sure I can say enough good things about this property. Hosts made sure we had all the appropriate information to find the property and we were greeted with a wonderful family history of the farm. The rooms were great and the property was spacious with a kitchen and family room.

The best house of our whole trip, had all of the necessary facilities, the house is spacious, clean, well-furnished. We totally enjoyed our stay there!

The road to the house is a 10-15 km gravel road, takes time and patience to get there. The upside - you don't get disturbed by anyone.

The small house where we stayed was very modern and clean. The bed is comfortable and all the equipment is working perfectly. The owner also makes you feel welcome and is willing to help you whatever you need. If you like being in a remote location then this is a perfect place. There are two ways to get to the accommodation, via the west it takes you from the exit of the ringroad 1 about 20 minutes all on a gravel road. From the east it takes you from the exit of the ringroad 1 about 30 minutes but only the last 5-10 minutes on a gravel road. We found the latter the most convenient way but it depends on what direction you’re heading I guess.

Apartment was lovely and spacious and very well equipped. Lovely comfy bed too😀

Was a bit more isolated than what I was expecting. Once you get used to the gravel road it’s fine.
