Au pied de la cascade, la vue est magnifique ! La chambre et les sanitaires très propres ! Une machine à café est à disposition dans le couloir c’était top ! Nous avons mangé au restaurant c’était très bien.

Le prix des boissons excessivement chères… (14€ un verre de vin…)

Everything was great, nice location, nice room, not very spacious, but smartly done.

The food in the restaurant can improve a bit. They feed you, the portions are big, but chef can try a bit harder. Pasta was overcooked, and burger -I think they put the already ready patty into grill, a bit burnt from the top and cold at the bottom, bun was cold, would be nice to put it into oven for a minute for being a bit crunchy on the top. The flavours of the burger were great, just the final product would do with a bit of a 'love'. Soup of a day was the same for 2 days that we were there.

Very recently renovated hotel and bedroom, quite different from the comments we read ahead of booking it! Excellent location next to the Skogafoss waterfall. Perfect as a stop on our way back from Höfn

Flies. Dozens of house flies inside. Spent a lot of time swatting flies to kill them. They were in all the rooms

We chose the location near Skogafoss as the the perfect place to end our day. There were a few other properties nearby but for the price and facilities, this one worked for us. We did have a nice view of the waterfall in the distance from our room and views of the surrounding mountains as well once the skies cleared. It would have been ideal for northern lights but none on the day we stayed, The restaurant had excellent food and desserts; we really enjoyed our meals. The included breakfast was good as well, with a wide selection and some excellent skyr.

The hallway around the coffee machine was kind of dark, marking it hard to see what you are doing.

Very comfy bed, with a view of Skogafoss waterfall in the distance. Breakfast was plentiful, mostly fresh and local. Parking ample. Very good place to stay for an early or late walk to Skogafoss and the surrounding areas, to beat the tourist trip times

Shared Coffee machine in the corridor was odd, but not bad.

Almost all night there was a deep, loud drone coming from the wall or roof (ventilation system?). This noise was so loud and intense that you could hear it even through earplugs.

Everything was great. Service was superb and went out of their way to solve a problem we had which made the trip a lot better for one of our family member. Breakfast was very nice and wide range of food to enjoy in the morning. Access to free coffee and hot chocolate which the kids loved. Very close to Skógarfoss which was nice, you could basically just put your shoes on and be at the waterfall in 3-5 minutes.

The bunk beds creek a lot when the kids moved an inch. Became rather tiresome when they were trying to fall asleep but in the end they did. When it rained there were some noises from the drops falling from the roof. Something that is easily fixed with a gutter. Pretty sure this problem only exists for the room in the end of the hotel.

Location of this hotel is as the name entails right on skogafoss' doorstep and also the food was very nice. The staff were friendly.

We found rooms were very basic and there wasn't warm water for the morning which was very disappointing. However what was even more disappointing was that the staff offered a 50% refund on our stay as compensation for the inconvenience. This was never payed even though they took our details.

The location right next to the waterfall was a real treat. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was phenomenal- above expectations.

Our room was so hot. We adjusted the thermostat on the wall, but it was still uncomrtably hot, so we opened a window, which helped a little.

Breakfast was very good. The beds were very comfortable. There was lots of space in our family room. It was very clean.

The hotel had a funny smell. No real milk with the hot drink making facilities. Felt a little without character. No deal presence of any staff. We found the bedroom very very hot but that might just be us.

Excellent stay beautiful hotel, lovely breakfast and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend this place.

The room was very hot and there was no way to reduce the heat apart from opening the window which is not ideal in the bad weather.

Fantastic location right next to Skogafoss. Breakfast was good.

Pretty average accommodation, but you pay for the location.
