The location and facilities. Rustic Italian experience, close to ferry and main town. Plenty of space to move around and patio to sit outside with lake view. Nice welcome box and info leaflets available on arrival. Really enjoyed our time in Menaggio / Casa Mira Al Lago and would stay again.

Bed not very comfy and screws had come out of headboard - screws in bedside drawer. Would require more pillows if more people staying as only one per person. Would be better with full size ironing board. Can be quite noisy at night from road sounds.

The site is very central, very close to bus station and the Boat and Ferry. The site have private access to the Beach, perfect to go to swimm in the Lake several times per day. Big living room, big terrasse. The view from the terrasse over the Lake.

The bed’s are not confortable. The sleeping rooms are noisy from the traffic of the street behind. Some crazy drivers at night disturbed a lot. The terrasse should be cleaned up before each stay.

The apartment was outstanding. It was very quiet. The welcome box was really nice. We couldn’t get the washer to work, and a man from the office came and figured it out for us. In spite of the temperatures being in the mod 80s, it was always cool inside. We did not use the fans provided. The office made appointments for us to get Covid tests. Kitchen was extremely well stocked.

The only problem was that we were given the wrong keys! After trying all four of the keys none worked. We had to gain entry by getting another resident to buzz is in, then the keys didn’t work in the apartment door either. Even though we were provided a picture, after 7 hours of travel that day, we were exhausted - some kind of number or name on the apartment door would have been helpful. Our driver finally returned to the office to get the correct keys. On our subsequent visits to the office when everyone was very nice and helpful, no apology was ever given to us.

There was no Breakfast ! , the location was excellent, furnishing a little too basic for my taste and mattresses very hard, but overall the apartment met our requirements and we were more than happy. Wonderful to have access to the lake and the outdoor terrace .

Nothing, the apartment was very well equipped with cutlery, crockery pots and pans etc, but could do with some soft furnishings to take it up a notch. Also the single beds are very small!!

The location is perfect, just 1 min from the ferry port and 2 min to the main square with restaurants and shops. The spacious terrace with the lake view is just amazing, you will definitely love it! From the apartment there is an access to the small but nice private beach, where it is possible to swim and sunbathe.

It is noisy during the night, as bedrooms windows face to the quite busy road. The water pressure in the shower was weak, but the problem was promised to be solved. The wi-fi stopped working after 2 days of our stay. We had the mobile internet and didn't use wi-fi, but for others it could be a problem. I believe that if we turned to the hosts with this issue it would be solved.
