Marvelous Vacation Property
My wife and I absolutely loved this bit of paradise on the Catalunya coast. Set almost directly on the water, it provides a 180-degree view of the Mediterranean Sea, with waves crashing day and night on the rocky shore. It's just a short walk to/from the train station, making it easy to get into Barcelona or up the shore to the Costa Brava. (Despite the proximity of the tracks to the apartment, we never heard the trains go by.) The apartment is exceptionally clean and a great size for two or four people, nicely appointed and equipped with everything you need for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It was too cold during our stay to use the pool(s), but we did walk just a short distance up the promenade to Pins Mar, a very nice oceanfront restaurant just a stone's throw away. Lots of other great restaurants are nearby at the marina, and there's a fabulous small market just a short walk up the hill in the village. Check-in was a snap, and Jose has thought of everything to make his guests feel welcome and comfortable. We definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to experience more than a hotel room in Barcelona and get out and see the rest of Catalunya. Five stars all the way!

Tous est fait pour être dans les meilleurs dispositions. L'appartement est parfait et la copropriété très bien entretenue. Un peu loin de Barcelone mais facile d'accès par le train, la gare est à 2 minutes à pied de l'appartement.

Highly Recommended
The apartment was exactly as described in the offer: spacious, very clean, conveniently located 45 minutes train ride to Barcelona, fine dining restaurants are just few minutes walk away, as well as bars and entertainment.
Our host Jose was responding within minutes to all our questions, sometimes silly ones.
The only thing that, in my opinion need improvement are bath and shower tub. Both of them are very slippery, and I'm sure there are several options to fix that.

Excellent apartment - excellent host
The apartment is excellent. The window looking out to the sea is truly wonderful. We arrived earlier than expected. Jose was able to arrange the key holder to arrive at the apartment at short notice to give us our keys.
Overall, a 10 out of 10.

Small City Escape From Barcelona
This location is a nugget of gold. It's a short walk from the train station with a convenient ride to the center of Barcelona or toward Girona. The apartment is clean, well-furnished and has a great view of the ocean. The manager is a professional and was quick to respond in all situations. I would recommend this property without hesitancy to anyone seeking a vacation destination away from the big city.

Great property right on the Mediterranean 45 min north of Barcelona!
Perfect for a family of four or anyone who wants to visit Barcelona without being in the heart of the city. Train is within easy walking distance and it’s a 45 minute train ride to downtown Barcelona. Great property in great condition.

The appartment is spacious and has a great view over the Mediterranean sea (bring binoculars to spot ships). It was clean, bathrooms were good and beds were ok. Only downside is the noise of the road and railroad on the back of the appartment but if you keep the windows closed it is no problem. The front side is very quiet. You only hear the sea. The terrace furniture was a bit unsturdy and the frying pan seemed to have been used in combat. Other than that we didn't find anything wrong. There is a large swimming pool in the well kept garden and the beach is a three minute walk from the appartment. The harbour is another three minutes away and you find a number of restaurants there. We found three golf courses nearby. The immediate vicinity isn't very picturesque but there is and there are no shops in walking distance but you can take the train to Barcelona from the station next to the appartment and there is that amazing ocean view..

We were very satisfied with the apartment. It is an amazing sea view from the balcony. Jose was very friendly and if we had some questions, then he replied immediately. The apartment was very equipped.

Best vacation ever!
We loved staying at Jose's apartment on the Mediterranean! The place was immaculate, equipped with everything we needed. Each morning we woke up and had sunshine on the beautiful waters of the sea outside our window and sitting on the porch. Some days we just hung around the area with nice beach and very good restaurants. Other times we spent the day in Barcelona. Jose was extremely helpful - we arrived late at night the day of our arrival and took the wrong train. He called a taxi for us to get us to the place since there were no more trains. When we left at the end of our trip, he arranged transportation to the nearby town Mataro in order to catch an early train to get to the airport. Many thanks Jose!

Beautiful Seaside Vacation
My 3 sisters and I enjoyed our accommodation very much. We arrived late and Mohammed was very kind in bringing us snacks to tide us over until we could get to the grocery store. The kitchen was well stocked with all the proper utensils for creating gourmet meals. We were there during the cooler season and although we turned up the heat, we did need an extra sweater and slippers after the sun went down. The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep and on clear days the sunrises were breathtaking. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. The only downside was the internet as we could not share photos with those at home.

Great apartment
Great apartment in a very well maintained development. Lovely balcony with loads of space. Nothing between you and the sea. 3 minutes walk for the train into Barcelona but the train noise can hardly be heard in the appartment, and not at all in the living room and front bedroom. Apoartment was well equipped and very clean. Good info provided by owner. Would highly recommend this property

Lovely apartment, fabulous views!
The apartment and the grounds are lovely. One cannot fault the block itself, the gardens are beautifully maintained and everything that you might need for a relaxing holiday is provided in the apartment. Local train service to Barcelona is an added benefit. If I had to be critical, the lack of local shops and bars was a bit of a disappointment. Jose (Landlord) made sure we were comfortable and looked after.

Lovely comfortable convenient apartment
• The listing description was accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc. The apartment handbook provided after booking is very comprehensive and covers everything you need to know.
• The property was clean and well-maintained, as were the gardens and pools.
• The owner Jose provided good customer service both before and after arrival. We did need to contact him a couple of times about wi-fi and hot-water issues but these questions were speedily answered.
• I would very much recommend this property if you are looking for a beachfront apartment in this area. The balcony is stunning as you are virtually sat above the sea. This does mean that you can hear the sea in the balcony bedroom at all times. My wife loved this, but it might disturb others.
• My wife and I very much liked the area. My wife was off swimming in the sea every day, the beach being a 5 minute walk away. There is a good choice of restaurants within walking distance of the apartment.
• We particularly liked the railway station being so close and we used the local trains to travel both locally and wider afield to Barcelona and Tarragona. Cheap and frequent trains enable you to explore bars and restaurants in neighbouring communities without having to drive,
• We shopped at the Lidl in Arenys de Mar which is an easy 5 minute drive away.
• Minor issues? If you sleep in bedroom 2 with the window open there is a certain amount of train and road noise (I didn’t mind this at all as the trains were so useful!). Also we found the wifi would only support attaching 2 devices and would regularly drop out for a few minutes, but the connection would always come back on.
• All in all we really enjoyed our stay. Many thanks Jose for allowing us to stay in your lovely apartment.

The property was in a good location and well equiped.
The key holder was very cheerful but we were unable to communicate with him and we did not discover the wi-fi code until almost the last day as he did not know it.
I have joint problems and found the loungers on the balcony too low.
The pool was freezing and the steps in, difficult to manage when getting in but ok when getting out.
Beds were comfortable but an extra pillow would have been useful.
It is certainly somewhere we would consider again one day.
The owner gave great customer service. It was useful having the station so close and the trains ran frequently and cheaply into Barcelona.
Bars and restaurants nearby were good.
Grocery shops are not very close, but we had a car. If you arrive on a Saturday the shops are closed on Sunday and the petrol station has limited supplies.

Amazing Apartment directly at the beach
We (24 and 26 year old) spent a long weekend in this amazing apartment which is directly at the seaside.
The apartment and the entire complex (garden, pools, etc.) were very clean and well looked after by the concierge who helped us with any occurring issues.
It is a big apartment with 2 new bathrooms. Especially the big balcony was the perfect place for having breakfast with a incredible sea view.
There were several great restaurants and bars at the beach and also lots of beautiful small little villages with catalan restaurants and shops.
This places offers a great variety of outdoor activities for every age.
It was the perfect place to combine a visit to Barcelona, which was easy to reach by train (3 min. walk from the apartment) and a vacation at the seaside.
I can recommend it a lot and will come back for sure!

Nice and clean apartment with incredible views. We (2 couples, late 30s) had a great time combining a stay at the see with day trips to Barcelona. All photos match the current state.
