Das Haus wurde 1928 erbaut und zuletzt 2018 renoviert. Der Keller hat einen eigenen Eingang unter dem Carport - beim Betreten gehen die Gäste durch einen sauberen Laden- / Garagenbereich, durch einen Waschraum und in die Keller-Suite. Die Treppe zum Haupthaus ist für die Privatsphäre gesperrt. Die Suite verfügt über einen Minikühlschrank, eine Mikrowelle und einen Keurig. Internet und TV sind ebenso verfügbar wie einige Familienspiele, Legos und Streichholzschachteln, falls Sie mit wenig Geld anreisen. Machen Sie es sich in der ruhigen Suite gemütlich, unternehmen Sie einen Ausflug nach Tacoma und genießen Sie es, ganz gleich, aus welchem Grund Sie uns besuchen!

Came in town for short stay on business. Loved the location and easy access to everywhere in the South Sound. Nice and quiet, and amenities and owners are top notch. Will use again. Five Stars.

My son and I were in Tacoma to visit University of Puget Sound. We were able to walk to UPS. The host was thoughtful and responsive to our needs.

The basement apartment was incredibly comfortable. The bed was more comfortable than I could have expected. I loved the comfortable couch and recliner. In a wonderful part of Tacoma with great access to restaurants and the sound. I would highly recommend staying here and will again in the future!!

Great location with the most amazing view of Puget Sound, Plenty of space to relax and work, New carpets, Comfy bed with nice linens, fluffy bath towels, great water pressure in the shower. I was traveling alone for business. This was my first time in the area. Shannon was the nicest host and accommodated my request to extend my stay. I met her boys and a few of her friends. I felt safe and welcome.

Unbelievable territorial views
Our host was the best!
The views from the deck were unbelievable, my wife and I actually live just across the Bay in Browns Point so we are used to seeing and enjoying views of the area.
Initially this spot was for my wife and I to stay as we gave up our home for family that traveled over from Ontario.
But after we had a gathering on the deck, my father in law couldn't say enough about the views and on this night we could even see Mt Baker in the distance, which is near the Canadian border. So my wife and I went back home leaving the father in law and two kids.
The suite was perfect as well, it had games and kid toys for the youngsters. The suite was very comfortable and was furnished well. We'd stay again !

This place was a great location. It was near everything we needed. We were happy with how quiet and clean it was. The bed was comfortable. The check in and check out was easy. The owner was very responsive. We enjoyed it.

While the basement apartment was cozy and well-appointed, there was one small window and no direct access to the deck pictured. The footsteps above and occasional barking of the family pet detracted from the experience. Disappointing.

Enjoy your stay!
My husband and I needed a place to stay while visiting our Puget Sound student. I’m a huge fan of VRBO and decided to see what I could find. I found this place and knew it was perfect! The property was updated and clean, and even had snacks! We were able to sit on the outside deck and enjoy the view during the day and would love to come back at night and use the fire pit. Super easy to find and close to downtown. Would highly recommend for a fun trip!

Excellent stay
We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay at this lovely location. The suite was beautifully updated, spotlessly clean and in a terrific location. (Plus a super comfy bed!) The view from the deck is beautiful and the fire pit makes it enjoyable even when the weather is a bit chilly. Shannon is an excellent host! She communicated quickly and thoroughly when we had questions or requests. She made us feel welcome from our first contact, and at home throughout our stay! Thank you, Shannon and we hope to return soon!

This spot is a must stay if in the Tacoma area! Their property is amazing, the view from the shared deck is wildly beautiful, old Tacoma is stunning to be immersed in, and they made it all very comfortable for us! The communication was timely and accommodating, and I never had any moments of anxiety with this booking! 10/10

Great accomodations, location and view
This rental had a newly remodeled feel to it. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. The deck was a real highlight with an amazing view of the Sound!
Shannon was hospitable and responsive to our questions and needs. (Revision of bed set-up and early check-in among others.)

It was a fun place to stay. It was comfortable and conveniently located. I was surprised to find that the balcony was a shared one, but Shannon is super nice and is happy to share the area.

The apartment worked well for the short stay I needed in that neighborhood.
This was a business trip and my daughter and I had hoped to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view but the weather just didn't cooperate. But it worked out fine for a short stay.

Beautiful view
It felt like we were staying at a friend’s house in a cute neighborhood with a phenomenal view of Puget Sound. We felt a little awkward hanging out on the deck at first (like We were invading someone’s privacy), but we got over it! That view!!!

We had a great experience. Awesome neighborhood and super clean/cozy. Property owners are so friendly and had a bottle of wine waiting for us...very appreciated after our long drive. Highly recommend this property and will stay again if we head up to Tacoma in the future!
