Peaceful, quiet and secluded. Just what I was looking for. Cabin is just as described.

What a lovely cabin in the mountains. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit enjoying the stars in such a peaceful setting. The cabin was cozy with spectacular views from the front porch. The woodwork in the cabin was quite beautiful and impressive. One of the best equipped kitchens I have rented. Our host was wonderful and prompt with information and responding to a few questions. They even provided food to feed the wild turkeys that wander around. A fun activity for all to enjoy. Sylva NC is a quaint town with nice shops and restaurants. This is definitely a cabin we will return to!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights here.Ample room to have personal space! The cabin has a very well stocked kitchen and the biew from the porch is amazing.The location is close enough to enjoy shopping and dining in Sylva or Dillsboro .Communication with host was excellant.

One of the best stays we’ve had. Directions and instructions were awesome. It’s a steep climb but well worth it. Beautiful views and everything was as described!!! Thank you!!!!

We came to the cabin to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The cabin was cozy and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the snow fall…just beautiful. We will be returning!

This cabin exceeded my expectations. The pictures don't do it justice. It checked off all our boxes- super cozy, clean, comfortable, well-stocked, wood-burning fireplace, and secluded. It was remote enough where you are surrounded by nature, yet close enough to the city. The view from the main bedroom was amazing--it looks out on to the mountains and the sunrise. We would open the blinds and sit in bed just to admire the sun rising over the mountains. The front porch was very welcoming. Even in the cold, it was nice sitting outside on the front porch with a cup of coffee, seeing and listening to all the songbirds. The cabin was super well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals in kitchen. Also, the bed in the main bedroom and couch in the living room were super comfortable. Lisa, the owner, was very helpful with giving us details on how to check in and get to the cabin and answering any questions we had. We loved spending Christmas at the cabin, making hot chocolate, and sitting by the wood-burning fireplace. This cabin was a gem.

We enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing and quiet neighborhood in the mountains. Cabin was very comfortable. The front porch had a great view and we saw wild turkeys up close. Highly recommend this cabin. The host were great about communication.

This cabin checked all the boxes and more. Located in the peaceful and serene mountains….a great place to chill and enjoy the quiet. The cabin was a home away from home, having many extras that came in handy. We were lucky to have picked the perfect fall week and the view from the front porch was absolutely amazing with all the beautiful fall colors. Check in was very easy and the owner was very attentive and gave us plenty of ideas of places to visit and restaurants we might enjoy. Location was central to everything - Bryson City, Cherokee, Maggie Valley and the park were just a short drive away. However, to experience the best of the mountains, all you had to do was step out onto the front porch and take a look around. We had fun watching the turkeys and even got to see them fan their feathers at the T-Rex - pretty funny. As far as driving the mountain road, our Rav4 had no problem on the road whatsoever. Great Cabin and can't wait to come back!

Beautiful cabin inside and out! Host was great, very good communicator and accommodating! The cabin is cozy and feels like home away from home! We were visited by a group of turkeys every day and we could watch them from front porch! Very peaceful, and we loved the quiet! Outdoor campfire was great in the evenings! I will come back to this cabin!

Great location near WCU with beautiful view of Balsam mountain..enjoyed seeing the fog rise from the valley each morning while the wild turkeys came to visit...cabin was perfect for my wife and I.. cabin had so many things we often forget to take on vacation , for instance plastic storage bags and great assortment of spices for cooking..enjoyed the cool air at night without the a/c on!!

Cozy, rustic cabin. Out favorite thing about our stay was to walk down the drive and identify all of the wonderful native medicinal plants that are growing right there - a whole natural pharmacy! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

The cabin was very cozy and roomy. There were 3 wild turkeys that showed up each day and were neat to watch. View was spectacular on top of mountain and drive to house was steep but manageable. Host kept in touch of any needs. Recommend to all who love mountains!!!

The front porch was a relaxing pleasure. We spent the majority of our time there enjoying God's breathtaking creation. We would have appreciated a broom and dust pan for general clean up after ourselves. We overlooked there not being a washer and dryer; had to go to laundromat. Cleanliness was a little below the B+ level. Overall, very relaxing.

This is our second time staying here. The cabin is always stocked, clean, and ready for us. We love the view and let’s not forget the wild turkeys. We will be definitely going again. Thanks Lisa for letting us enjoy your home.

We loved the cabin and the location. However, our stay was cut short from 1 week to 2 days due to a family emergency. Wish we could have stayed the entire week.
