Although obviously built a little while ago, our room was very clean and comfortable (to be honest, it put some of the newer places in Brisbane city and around Qld that we have stayed at to shame ,with what was supplied in the room to, and most importantly for me, cleanliness!!). Whilst only booked as a standard motel room, it was very well equiped with: small fridge, microwave, a full range of crockery & cutlery, cork screw, ice cube tray, nice hot showers, and more. The managers were friendly, helpful and down to earth. We had stayed here previously and will certainly stay here again and will definitely recommend The Wynnum Anchor Motel to others !!

Nothing really, but if I had to say something it would be the bathroom was a little chilly. (Winter). Whilst main room had reverse cycle air con, bathroom had an exhaust fan attached to the light & small .permanent screened opening above the window. But again, common in motel bathrooms.

It is an older style motel with basic bed area, table and chairs, TV etc in one room and a small bathroom. However everything was neat and clean and nicely presented. The staff/family owners were warmly welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was excellent...just 2 homesites from Moreton Bay and the area nice and quiet particularly at night with very little passing traffic. Just a few minutes from cafes, shops and a weekend market. I'd definitely stay there again.

The owners were very helpful and friendly in regards to booking and later check in. the rooms are extremely clean and well maintained and the location is in a nice quiet area close to the water.

Close to water, updated room, great hot water and good pressure! Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Enjoyed our stay in a great location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Evening walks with the family was amazing especially along the esplanade and jetty approx 3mins drive away. Had trouble sleeping on hard beds though but we still managed to have a fantastic time.

A gem! Lovely management and beautifully presented and clean room. Located away from the hustle and bustle but close to the water for beautiful walks. Lovely to have the pool and deck for warm days.
