Literally just the beach.
Past 3:45pm given my room when check in is at 3pm. Upon entering the room had no toilet. Issues with getting relocated. 12 restaurants and we were told we could only reserve 2. Food is absolutely trash; no flavor including Olivo Mediterranean, Orchidia, Bar Grill . Drinks were served in a 5oz cups throughout the whole stay (all artificial) warm beer. Must pay over $50 for “top shelf” although it’s all inclusive. Employees calling each other out of their names and verbally fighting amongst themselves in front of guests (reception, entertainment, shuttle drivers). Employees are extremely rude to guest specially the ones located in the “coming 2” desk (day shifts). Not a 5 star resort, at best 2-3 stars.

Convenience location of room to the lobby pool.
We did not get adjoining rooms .. lots of construction , especially at the beach, no restaurant or bar or pool accessible at the beach. This made it hard to stay at the beach. Most of the rooms are clean but falling apart. It's not what they showed in the pictures on the site.

The thing that I like was the gardens of the hotel and that there is small aquapark for children.
Disgusting dirty bathroom with hair from previous guests. The staff don't speak fluent English and they don't have torn and obligation to meet the guest expectations for a 5-star hotel. The food was not tasty at all and with poor quality, last days eats only fruits. The a-la-carte restaurants are joke. They serve you appetizers with the salami and bread from breakfast,

We liked the room, it was very close to the beach. also the transportation inside the hotel was very helpful to go to the lobby and to the restaurants. The Nikkei restaurant was our favorite.
The rooms were a bit dark.

I booked a trip with them and the tour operator did not show up at the booked time so i called customer service and i was told i will get a full refund . The trip was supposed to take place on the 6th of February .... I have not received my refund still.

The lobby, grounds, pool, and room all look nice
With regards to the pool and beach: overly loud music all day, overcrowded, long lines for drinks, vendors everywhere, not enough chairs or shade. Impossible to relax. Check-in too long. No expedited process for those who did pre-check-in. Jacuzzi in room does not work.

We found a piece of rubber band inside a pork sausage...my fiance almost choke and we report it to the staff and nothing happens.

i booked a holiday for three people and was very careful to reserve a room that sleeps 4, but when we arrived at the hotel, we were given a room with one king bed for 3 adults to sleep in. The front desk promised to send us another bed but it never arrived. Instead the hotel changed our room to two double beds (smaller than a queen) … so our family spent 10 days in paradise with me and my husband in separate beds and our 17y old son slept on a bench. Also, we only ever got 2 of anything- cups, glasses, towels, even though we specifically requested a room for 3 adults

I only liked the pools here
The beach was so far away and not nice. It wasn’t cleaned and there weren’t enough chairs and the chairs that were there were so crowded that jt felt claustrophobic. The food at the restaurants were not good but the buffet was ok. The cleaning lady was rude and literally was rolling her eyes at us. The room was extremely outdated. It also was not clean. Basic cleaning wasn’t done like the sheets were dirty and had multiple stains and even something that looked like mold? Deep cleaning also hasn’t been done in God knows how long either because the curtains had stains on them as well and the bathroom had dirt & dust. The mini fridge had like 2 things in it and it wasn’t even cold. The TV had bad signal and low resolution and it was not a smart TV. The room additionally did not have enough lighting and neither did the resort. Overall, I expected more but the lady at guest relations was extremely nice and so was our waiter (Manuel) for the romantic dinner, which was the highlight of the whole stay!!! He was so amazing!

What's there to like when the service is so poor ?
Room: missing water in the fridge, coffee machine dirty and mugs never cleaned, pillows were old and bad, bathroom never really cleaned and the shower/tub extremely slippery and difficult to get in for an elderly person or a child. Staff: some were okay and but most were not, incompetent and moody. Serving alcohol: inconsistent! It seems that every bartender had their own recipe. Food: salty too much! Not enough variety, same old fruits everyday and they were not juicy. Coffee: bad!!! For a country like DR, a coffee producer, the coffee at the hotel was bad and always served almost cold.
Overall, the service was poor.

the amenities, restaurants and bar start tidying up 30 min before their closure time, which means the staff is not very friendly and you feel rushed. In addition they claim being all-in but truth is bars by the pool stop serving alcohol (they just serve beer) after 5pm. None of this was told to us in advance. The place is crowded which translates into long line ups for everything, and entertainment is so loud you don’t get a quiet moment sipping a cocktail or by the beach

The room ,old , nothing worked , The food was uneatable. The attitude of the staff one moment or right away nothing was done regarding your complaint. . Spent many hours to complaints always promised never done. No housekeeping for days!! then just a fast swipe that's it. Worst place it have ever stayed at. Even the tour was bogus I booked a tour to Santo Domingo GOT a tour of Christopher Columbus, totally not interested in something i learned in grade 2. Taken to some run down area for shopping!!!! A big building with junk!!

Location is excellent, the staff was very helpful and the facilities are great.
Food. It is really a shame, as otherwise it could have been a perfect stay.
The main dining restaurant has a huge variety, but most of the dishes are max medium quality.
So little is missing, e.g. they serve fresh hamburgers. Only the burger meat is not fresh, but factory made and pre-fried. The result is an excellent burger with horrible meat inside. Or the fresh-made scrambled eggs: if you don't pay attention they are fried until there is no moisture left.
Or the fresh grilled meat at the pool: outside blackened burned, with chewy parts i side .
On the other hand, you can also choose for a limited number of days the local in-hotel restaurants, which were all great!
I hope someone from the staff is reading this, as this could be fixed with no added cost - just with a bit of attention.
Otherwise it was a great experience and can recommend it to everyone.
