Surprisigly nice hotel for 3stars.Beautiful design,small but tasty breakfast and very nice staff.

I specifically booked a room with double bed,(and received confirmation for it)as we travel with a toddler that sleeps with us.I was unpleasantly surprised to get a room with 3 single beds that we had to move next to one another.No need to say it is not comfortable for someone to sleep where the beds join,less so for a kid that could fit between the mattresses,as we could stuff a whole thick blanket in the space. The room was nice and clean,but as we moved the beds toghether,of course under one of them there was a thick layer of dust.

When I arrived I requested another room and the staff was able to give me a better one as I wanted a space with more natural light. Sanja made sure to help everytime I needed something, like a taxi or an iron for instance. The hotel is right on a cobblestone street with bars and cafés so you don't need to suffer looking for options to hang out. the fortress is 10 min away walking, which is great for an afternoon or morning walk.

The breakfast was basic. Not many options on the menu but it was enough to kickstart the day. Some appliances like the lamp were not working and some others might need to be replaced for newer ones.

We stayed here for a night on our way back home from Greece. The location is great being in the heart of the city with many places very very close (restaurants, bars, fast foods, supermarkets and even a shopping street / shopping center very close), The room was very nice, we loved the good taste of the design and the ingenious placement of the bathroom. The reception staff was very nice and helpful. They also took care of the public paid parking space right in from of the hotel which is nice. The breakfast was beyond our expectation for the hotel, we really appreciated the attention given to it despite the fact that the hotel is not a big one. We will definitely stay here if we visit Nis again.

Everything could be amazing if the upkeep was done with more attention. The bathroom furniture has some wear and tear sings and although the towels were clean, they had some small holes in them, a sign that they should be changed. Not a big deal for us though since they were clean. This in understandable though after 2 years of pandemic times in a rather small town in Serbia.
