Absolutely stunning. Beautiful rural B&B with a lovely warm welcome and delicious food. Spotlessly clean and a warm, comfy bed. Faultless. It was our wedding anniversary too, and Martin & Marina gave us a lovely card - a really nice touch. The shower was as hot as you like, and the surrounding gardens really couldn't have been better. Having a nice bird feeder outside really made the place feel like a nice country stay.

Perhaps the only part of concern was as we went out, the owner must have gone into the room to close the window, In itself, not a massive problem, but once guests are in the room, they should have complete privacy. Perhaps it's because we are city folk, but it just felt a bit 'weird' that someone had been in the room whilst we were out. And perhaps it's just something to do with a lovely country house stay, but my wife was somewhat surprised that there was no television in the room. Personally, I loved the peace and quiet, but my wife likes the noise of a TV to go to sleep. The option would have been nice. Still, a 10/10 stay.

Martyn and Marina were very welcoming. We loved our room and the location was perfect for a quiet few days Away. The food was excellent.

The breakfast was unbelievably delicious and entirely homemade and locally sourced.

It’s impossible to think of anything negative without being nit-picking, but if we have to… a full-length mirror would have been useful, as would a small, possibly fold-up, table (for working on a laptop etc).

We stayed in the shepherds hut and it was fabulous.

My husband and I stayed in the shepherd’s hut and we can only say… it was amazing! Martyn and Marina welcomed us with their superb hospitality. Upon arrival. there was homemade cake and tea waiting for us! They gave us really good suggestions about where to go and eat. We also enjoyed dinner made by Marina, which was really delicious. The place is also very tidy and clean! Mike& Ching

Hosts Martyn and Marina were lovely, so thoughtful and hospitable. The food (pretty much all homemade) and all the little details really elevated the experience and the hut was so gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Had everything you need. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

A welcome return to Corner House and as good as our first visit. Lovely property and gardens, very hospitable hosts who look after you very well. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at this property,

We liked everything about this property. The cottage is situated in beautiful gardens and very relaxing. The breakfast are excellent and the hosts very friendly and welcoming.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT

Liked everything about our stay at the corner house, lovely well maintained and decorated old thatched cottage with beautiful garden. Martyn & Marina were very welcoming and friendly. On arrival the tea & cake was a great start and it only got better as we had opted for the three course evening meal which was of a very high standard, as was the breakfast. Can not say say enough about our stay apart from I wish we had booked a longer stay.

Martyn and Marina are the best hosts and the cottage is fabulous. It is a great place to get away from it all and to rest. We spent one night. The tea and cake on arrival is a lovely treat. We also had the 3 course meal option which was fantastic - Marina is a superb cook and it was so nice to enjoyed the cottage and have a delicious homecooked meal. It was a far superior meal we had at the cottage than we did the next day in a pub and which charged us more! We would definitely recommend staying here and want to thank Martyn and Marina for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming. You made my French mother in law very happy too! We definitely want to come back one day.

Martyn & Marina are superb hosts, I was travelling alone and received a warm, friendly welcome along with home baked cake and tea. The room was exceptional, a very comfy bed and quiet location. The log burner was a real bonus, so cosy. Excellent choices for breakfast and delicious.

The owners were very friendly , the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice , our room was very comfortable and cosy , with a log fire and a radiator , the bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep , the bathroom was lovely with a large walk in shower , the hotel is in a lovely area , unfortunately we were there during the weekend of storms so weren't able to enjoy the lovely countryside . .

Although there were plenty of books and games in our room , there was no Television which we could of done with due to the atrocious weather .

The accommodation lived up to expectations. We were warmly greeted and looked after by hosts Martyn and Marina. Our room was quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast was superb too. We were very impressed and would definitely stay again.

The only very minor drawback is the property is accessed a series of very narrow lanes with high hedges and blind bends, not for the faint hearted or nervous driver.
