So much to love about this place. To us, this accommodation was the magical combination of perfect unique spaces as well as kind, generous hosts. ~the house is spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. ~the home is also so thoughtfully designed and beautifully artistic with so many incredible and unique pieces of artwork created by the host ~the location was excellent for us—very easy access to the bus station, nice ~15 minute walk into town, a beautiful distant view of the lake, a nice small market on the corner ~Ximena was an extraordinary hostess. She was attentive and communicative, providing so much good support, ideas and information for us to enjoy our stay and even other portions of our trip.

Ximena was a very gracious and generous host who solved a problem for us and we were very grateful. The accommodation itself was delightful, interestingly decorated with Ximena's husband's artwork and fossicking finds. Lots of stones and shells as well as sculptures. Well set out cottage with lounge/dining, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Spices and condiments supplied, as well as teas and coffee. Lovely shower, comfy bed, tv in lounge area. Cosy cottage. Art in the garden too.

The service was really good. The place is really nice and has a grate view. It is pet friendly and Soda, our dog, was really welcome. Will recommend to family and friends.

We had a lovely stay at Nido de Luna, and Ximena was a wonderful host. Ximena met us on arrival and walked us through the property. The house itself is very cozy and decorated with Ximena's husband's lovely and creative artwork. The property was just outside of town (up a small hill which afforded lake views), but an easy 10 minute walk into El Calafate. Ximena and her husband brought us breakfast each morning at whatever time we requested (even as early as 6am), and it was always delicious with bread, jams, eggs, some fruit, and a pastry of some sort. I would absolutely stay here again. It was nice to have our own space outside of a hotel for a few days.

This stand alone house, rustical, cosy, decorated with much care for detail, makes you feel immeditally at home. It has everything you need and it is spacious. The owners are very nice people , trying to do everything they can to satisfy your needs. Situated in walking distance to the main bus station, in a quiet area, it is the perfect place to stay in El Calafate.

The hosts are SO friendly. They even drove us to the bus station and invited us over for a cup of coffee to see the host's original artwork. You really feel like you're staying at a local artist's home. The location within walking distance of the train station. The breakfast is lovely.

It's about 800m from the center of town, but not too far and the walk is quite nice.
