The owner Talai is amazing. Very friendly, very interesting guy. He does not speak English but there is good wifi and two Italians managed to communicate with him through google translate just fine. He is very patient and very very welcoming. The location is amazing, literally two minutes away from swimming. The facilities were shared, but very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable to sleep on.

The host's were very lovely and spoke very good English, which helped when trying to organise a hike to Konorchek Canyon. The location was very peaceful and relaxing, the lake is a short walk away.

The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere so struggled with the taxi from the bus station and walking at night was a bit intimidating.

I chose the place because it was close to the lake; the compound is pleasant, and the proprietor very nice and kind (she drove me to the bus-station when I was leaving).

A very nice guesthouse with large kitchen, garden and the lake a 2 minute walk away. It is very much off the main road at the lake side but a bit difficult to find, but there are signs "Tian Shan" leading all the way from the main road.

A nice private house, they moved out when we came. We could freely use all the facilities.

Love that it is 3mins walking distance to Issykul lake. There is also a playground inside the compound which is great for kids. The bed is super comfy and clean. The owner is amazing. She is very friendly and nice. She even helped us ordered food online.

Close walk to the lake. Comfortable, warm beds. Great kitchen and sitting area. Super warm shower (sadly traveled during the colder weather), and everything was just absolutely perfect and enjoyable. Great stay after a long day of hitchhiking, will probably be back on my way to Bishkek!

It was a perfect stay. The place is highly underrated. It is a bit difficult to find but the owner met us on the main street, so no problem. There are places to eat just on the main street. And the beach is only 2 minutes walk. The owners are amazing people - very friendly, helped us with information and advices. I think it's the best shower/toilet/toilet paper :) in the whole country there. Great breakfast (eggs, porridge on your choice, bread, cheese, jams). AND - THE BEST COFFEE! When you get to Kyrgyzia you will understand. Good parking inside.

Nothing really. Location is a bit off the main road, so you need to go in dark for a minute, but that's not really a problem at all. Plus, as said above - we were met on the main street.

Best spot very close to Issyk kol for sunset by the water. Town not much but the guest house has a kitchen and lounge and extremely comfortable. Best place in Kyrgyzstan we found after 10 days Easy drive back to Bishkek in morning

This place was superb. Not just by Kyrgyz standards, but by any standards.

Guest house is located by the lake, which is beautiful, but a bit remote. The property manager was very responsive to my enquiry after booking. Really appreciated. Make sure to get exact address and location (with exact map if necessary) before arrival, especially after dark as I did. The guest house has 3 separate rooms. The separate toilet and bathroom are cleaned and maintained. The staff onsite were very kind and the breakfast was good. They helped me to get a taxi back to the minivan station for very good price.
