Very spacious apartment with great view on the city. Great host and his family.

unfortunately, we were there in December during very strong rain. Apartment was very cold and the roof was like swiss cheese, everywhere were holes and rain and water was everywhere inside. We had to put a lot of buckets and bowls to catch the rain, otherwise whole floor was completely wet and with many puddles. This apartemnt is really great, but in sunny days, you should avoid it when it is raining for 36 hours in a row...

The Basant Villa is a unique place with beautiful view and very helpful and kind owner. It was really a pleasure staying in this place. You can feel Jordan's atmosphere and admire a beatiful panorama of Wadi Musa. I am really impressed with the owner. He was waiting for us outside the door and greeted us so kindness I will never forget. He took care of us and thought of things as we hadn't thought like lunch boxes while exploring Petra. I recommend this place with all my heart and would like to come back someday.

Fantastic location, aspatious apartman with 3 separate bedrooms, great view, and 5 minutes drive to Petra Visitor Center. Ahmed greeted and treated us as friends, we had a wonderful time there. He helped us with everything, suggested great routes and helped to organize our tour at Wadi Rum. I can only recommend this place to anyone visiting Petra, it is far better than in a hotel.

we were in December during huge rain thunder. Unfortunately because of rain we could not go out from the apartemnt for 36 hours - roads were closed and actually because o raind roads were more like mud, water and stones river, not a classic car road. In apartement the roof and ceiling was like swiss cheese - huge leaks in the roof caused puddles in the apartment and the need to place many buckets for dripping water. We walked around the apartment like on a slalom. Apart of that - everyting was fine.

Warmful welcoming, big appartement with big and comfortable bed. The owner can provide additional services such as taxi, food (incl. Lunch box),... The dîner prepared by his wife (15JOD) was delicious!

It was the most wonderful stay in Jordan.. The host was very helpful to us and saved us a lot of time and money. He arranged the tour for us in Petra from the Gulf Road and transferred us in his car at a price much lower than the regular taxi.. We will not forget the delicious Jordanian dinner in the villa, which Go back home..also the lunch box that we took with us to the Petra tour, which saved us a lot of money in Petra...

Everything was beyond imagination

The host Ahmed was very helpful and friendly. He was very accommodating and we could not have met a nicer host. The view was amazing. The living area was spacious.

The property is not as central as appeared on Google maps so was a bit further out from the centre but Hamed was very helpful in dropping us and picking us up.

I've been to Wadi Musa many times. This is, by far, the best value for money. The flat has everything you can think of and an amazing view. Plus Ahmed and his family are the kindest hosts.

Ahmed is super friendly and truly wants to help. Excellent set up for a family and close to Petra with a car.

the location and view were amazing. Mr Ahmed and family treated us like family and we’re always around to help with questions or advice. The first night meal was spectacular and breakfast, though basic, was more than enough ahead of a big day in Petra. unfortunately our Petra by night was canceled due to rain and Mr Ahmed was extremely helpful in getting in contact with the company to confirm this.

everything was perfect. the host Mr. Ahmad was really nice. his wife greeted us and made a home made Jordanian Dinner for us. and he has made necessary arrangement for our trip to Wadi Rum.. he even msged and followed up everything even after we reached back our home country after the trip to Jordan.

The location and views were amazing. Ahmad was very kind and way always willing to help. Enjoyed every moment of our stay. The house was spacious and comfortable with a heat pump system to keep desired temperatures. Very satisfied with our stay there.

It's quite cold in winter. The central heating element should remain on at all times to ensure the room stays warm.

This was a remarkable lodging with a remarkable host family! The view, food, beds, space and location were all fantastic! we had a group of 9 from America and this was the best accommodations we had in Jordan! Highly recommend! The host helped us navigate Petra in one day by coordinating a drop off at the back entrance… this cut our hike in half (from 10 miles to 5 miles) which is as perfect for a hike with kids and a large group!

Wonderful locality with the view of Wadi Musa and very close to the entrance to Petra rock city. Lovely host who provided us very useful tips and information. We enjoyed chatting with him over cup of traditional mint tea and we were served a very tasty dinner. His wife is an amazing cook and she even provided us with the lunch box for the Petra visit.

Examplary Arab hospitality The accommodation is a 10-minute drive to Petra visitor centre and is on a hill top offering spectular views of Wadi Musa. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the location is very quiet away from the hustle and bustle of town centre. For me what stood out was Ahmed's (host) hospitality. Ahmed truly embodies the reputation Arab's have for being great hosts. From the moment we arrived at Wadi Musa he made us feel at home and offered help at every opportunity. We arrived at Wadi Musa quite late and couldn't find Basant Villa. We called Ahmed whose son drove around and found us. Ahmed gave us a mobile device which enabled us to stay online while out and about in case we needed to touch base with Ahmed and use the internet. His wife made us dinner on our first night albeit it was late. Ahmed helped me when I needed to replace my hire car and took me to the local petrol station and patisserie. By the time we bid farewell to Ahmed, it felt like saying goodbye to a friend. If you are looking for a comfortable and quiet accommodation near Petra and a caring and helpful host then this is the place for you.

The Appartment was very big and comfortable - and we were so welcomed by this wonderful Jordan family! We had an amazing home cooked dinner that the children served - really delicious! We got a packed lunch to take with us into Petra - everything was well organized and thought through. Such a wonderful place and family! Thank you
