The staff was very welcoming. It's a charming suite, clean and finished in the style. Centrally located and on a quiet street. Breakfast in the courtyard was delightful.

The breakfast was EXCELLENT! We absolutely loved the property, its sense of history, and our wonderful hosts Revaya and Alon! Revaya and Alon went above and beyond the call of duty providing a great experience for both my Mother and me on our visit to Jerusalem for her 71st Birthday! Thank-you both very much. You made our Holiday a very memorable and happy one! :-)
Nothing. We absolutely loved everything. A great experience!

We returned as a couple to the Templar inn following a memorable family stay a few years back. A beautiful intimate inn within an historic templar building at the center of the German colony within walking distance of everything. The templar room was a unique experience - elegant architecture, spacious and tastefully furnished. Breakfast was wonderful in a relaxed vibe in their beautiful garden. The inn is run by a fascinating, warm couple who patiently took care of all our needs. Simply good. We’ll be back.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, very generous and much appreciated by all of us. We enjoyed the rooms, which were a good size, excellent shower and a pleasant sitting area that allowed us (two rooms) to sit together for a drink and chat. We all thought The Templer Inn was very good value for money, and that our hosts, Alon and his wife, were graciou and very helpful.
This is not the fault of the accommodation but the Municipality needs to limit the decibel levels of entertainment noise at the adjacent Tachana shop and restaurant complex. Completely exaggerated and unnecessary. Fortunately, it quietened down before bed time, but it really is unacceptable not only to visitors but also to anyone who lives on the adjoining streets or tries to operate guest accommodation.

The location is fine and the bedroom was perfect -cozy, big, with coffee machine, microwave, fridge, dishes and cutlery-. But what really makes this hotel an extraordinary experience is the family that runs it. Alon and his wife made us feel like if we were home, they prepared us some sandwiches and fruits to take during the days that we couldn’t have the breakfast in the hotel. They gave us the best tips to enjoy the neighborhood and the city, they even gave us towels to take to the Dead Sea. The only day that we could enjoy the breakfast with the other guests we were surprised, not only because it was delicious but for the care with which it was prepared and served.
Amazing family and amazing hotel!

Avon and his wife were gracious hosts who provided and excellent stay. Amazing property and I loved the fact that Avon has gone through so much pain to establish the history of the property
Nothing, was excellent.

We absolutely enjoyed the well equipped room, clean and comfortable, the well prepared homemade breakfast, the excellent location with easy access to parking area, the lovely guests which were always available to assist. The building is a very beautiful, old stone house in a cozy neighbourhood full of flowers.

Working in the travel industry and having visited over 40 countries, I rarely end up as positively surprised as during my stay at the Templer Inn. The exquisite level of attention and hospitality from our hosts exceeded our expectations. We felt more like guests at someone's home (which in part it is) rather than guests at a hotel.
The Inn is a historic house, well preserved. The neighborhood is quiet and gorgeous, even though it's not far from Jaffa Gate and the Old city.
Breakfast is delicious, with homemade food freshly served.
In conclusion: True hospitality.

Alon, the owner, worked very hard to customize the breakfast offered to my specific preferences. It was great. A very nice touch.
Had I had a car, parking might have been an issue.

Amazing place with amazing people! Very clean and quiet with a very tasty food! It is the perfect location if you love the arhitecture, the history - there you can find an old place of german colony מושבית גרמנית in the heart of Jerusalem!
תודה רבה!

I don't often leave reviews, but this one's a must. The place is really very nice, all the comforts you'd want in a charmingly restored house in the German Colony. The rooms are larger than we expected, and very comfortable. The 20-minute walk to the Old City goes through a lovely series of gardens, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.
However, what's most remarkable about this place is the owners: Alon and Rav treated us like family. It was really like staying with caring friends (who never get tired of having you around!). The breakfasts were great, and Alon was always ready with tourism advice, restaurants tips, and historic information. We were going to Jordan, and he hooked me up with his brother, who just returned from there and gave us lots of pointers. And we forgot something there, which he made sure got to his sister's place in Tel Aviv, where we picked it up a couple of days later.
C'mon! Where else do you get family-style service like that?! Stay at the Templer Inn if you're going to Jerusalem!
Internet was a little spotty.

very friendly host. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet location near the Jaffa gate of the old city. very tasty, varied and plentiful breakfast.
The price seemed a little high, although in this city it is difficult to find something cheaper and so comfortable. So this is more of a claim to the city than to the hotel.

Centrally located. Comfortable rooms furnished with attention to detail. Sumptuous breakfast that was beyond what you can find in a standard hotel. Friendly hosts. This is the second time we stayed there, and we will be happy to return.
All was fine.

great location. host helped us to use public transport. terrific value for a suite in a very expensive city. we liked the cosy and slightly dated feel of the place compared to modern hotels with no character. comfortable beds and nice large bathroom. breakfast on the patio adds to the pleasure. don’t hesitate.

This cozy four-room hotel is located in a historic Templer building in the heart of the German Colony. The thick walls and spherical ceiling seem to take you back a hundred years. However, the rooms have all the amenities, and even more than in the conventional hotel rooms (such as a kitchen with a full set of dishes, a microwave, a roomy refrigerator and a coffee machine). In addition I would like to highlight the exceptionally friendly attitude of the host, we felt like we were visiting old friends.

Property and hosts were exceptional! Rav and Alon went above and beyond to be helpful and to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Location was very convenient across from the First Station, near bus stops and walking distance from the Old City.
Nothing.

A gem in the heart of Jerusalem. Situated in a magical house in a beautiful and quite neighborhood. Close to the old city and near many restaurants and coffee shops.
The hosts are welcoming and helpful and the breakfast is delicious. We had a marvelous time in the Templer Inn and will definitely stay here again in the future.
