Great location with huge potential, however caveat emptor:- • The double bed was unusable for two people – the springs have completely collapsed. Sadly this was also reported by Kate (her review in May 2023) and Alison (her review Sep 2022) and no action taken. Serious issue and we would not recommend this property. We eventually reverted to one of us sleeping in the bed and the other on the couch (which is also well passed its used-by date). • The bar holding the shower head has nearly detached from the wall – action required. • The shower has no shelf to hold shampoo etc. • The shower drain is very slow – partially blocked? • The toilet room also has a basin but no toilet roll holder or towel rail. • The carpets are very badly stained – also reported by Alison in Sep-2022 but no action taken. • TV remote did not work – also reported by Alison in Sep 2022 and still a problem. • Couch is worn out – like a board to sit on • Clutter in the property is excessive, particularly excessive books. More than 50 in the toilet room – do they think a guest would pick up a book from a shelf in the toilet that may have been read by someone who was sitting on the toilet. The excessive clutter gives the property a very shabby feel. • Having a parking space is great but beware that, given it is located behind the opening gate, there is a restriction in relation to car length. This detail should be included in the instructions • Instructions to finding the property refer to it being “just after Pizza Express” – there is no Pizza Express in Midhurst. I am troubled that the owners and the agents are clearly aware of some of these issues but seemingly have chosen to take no action.

very well equipped, clean and comfortable

No internet- also directions were a little confusing. Pizza express instead of Tesco Express. Also I informed the agent that I had to leave earlier than expected on the day I arrived. I would have appreciated a small refund for the unexpected situation.

This is a very comfortable flat which is in an ideal location.

An information pack would be helpful. The description of the property should state that this is a first floor flat. The parking spot was rather awkward as there was a car parked in the next bay that never moved & a stone wall the other side- you had to be sure the car was back far enough not to be hit by the gate!

Although it did not advertise WiFi.....it’s pretty much a given these days I would have thought.......for the price you would expect it. Poor cutlery.....terrible parking spot with inaccurate instructions- parking space not long enough for a standard modern car so when gate opens it hit my number plate ( not hard luckily ) Bed - clean, but needs a new firmer mattress.
