Sign posting of the car park entrance very poor, unclear and unwelcoming. Lifts not working to fist floor, I suffer from a terminal lung condition and the combination three flights of stairs and long corridors meant that by the time I reached my room carrying cases I was in respiratory distress and this was not what I was expecting. I did try to call from outside the hotel twice each time the phone rang for sometime then was hung up. When I challenged reception why this happened I was told I’m here on my own, I can’t I deal with the phone and check-in! Needless to say I will not be back.

Een haar in de douche. Ontbijt was niet spectaculair. Voelde de veren van het matras.

Great location, easy to find from motorway. Checked in early which was great after long overnight flight, room quiet and very comfy with luxury bedding. Great shower and good breakfast too, didn’t use the gym or pool.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Could have a cabinate with a draw each side of the bed would have been helpful. Signs to the pool would be helpful and in the right direction. Overall good. Would come back again.

The hotel looks a bit tired in places, needs a bit of a refurb, however with what they are offering for the price, good.

Really decent and cost friendly hotel to use as a base - comfy and clean rooms, friendly staff and good facilities e.g. health centre, pool and bar.

Perfect stop-over re heading into (deepest) Wales .. from far-flung Scotland! Parking spot-on, and check-in/Reception very good - thanks to Meg for her very enthusiastic and warm welcome - and nothing too much bother attitude. Room seemed recently refurbished; clean, bedding immaculate (always good!) and overall inviting - though very small! Dinner excellent; fish and chips, delicious .. service and attention from server, Kate, first class .. great customer service, and engaging. Breakfast superb!! Overall, great stay … certainly no complaints.

Can see a few things - like tired-decor etc - need updating/improving .. assume, programme of modernisation etc underway, which seemed ‘evident’?
