The best thing about the property is that it feels like home and that’s how every stay is supposed to be like. The hosts Amy and James are very welcoming and take care of every need . Though we were just for a night there,but would definitely recommend to spend a couple to absorb the vibes at the fullest . A big thumbs up for the breakfast, which was hot and fresh.

If you don’t have a car, this property is a bit far from the village. Though it has a bus stop right next door but travelling to and from the villages can be a bit expensive as the buses don’t run after 7.

Lovely homely place run by a lovely couple

When you stay in a place that is not near anything else, and you have been out in the hills all day, once you come back you don’t want to go out again. They make it clear there is no restaurant or pub in the hotel, but that is the reason why I would not stay there again. I need to come back, have a hot shower and then come downstairs for some drinks and food and a roaring fire with atmosphere. Maybe down the line they will develop this and offer food and create a pub as well, as otherwise, for me anyway, it doesn’t work.

Such a friendly & warm welcome by the Owners. Room was perfect with a lovely comfortable bed, breakfast was delicious. we will be returning.

This is the second time I have stayed in the hotel. First, in 2019 when the place had different owners. However I loved the changes and the whole place still have the relaxing , friendly atmosphere. The new owners are very welcoming and made our stay very pleasant. I already started recommending the hotel to friends.

Breakfast cooked to order, hosts were always nearby to help wth anything really, eg. bringing drinks to the lounge area, recommending local restaurants, giving travel advice.

Room decor was a little dated, but perfectly adequate for our needs. Would have loved an extra slice of bacon or an extra sausage with my breakfast, I dare say however that this probably wouldn't have been a problem to just ask at breakfast!

Nice clean, bright rooms, really comfortable bed. Decent size shower, powerful and hot. Amy and James are excellent hosts, very helpful. Unfortunately, only had chance to get one of the full English breakfasts, but it was exceptional, tasty, and just the right size. Llanberis is 20 mins down the road on foot or 5 mins in car/bike plenty of places to eat. All in all, a great place to stay, we will hopefully get chance to visit again soon.

Conveniently placed for our one night stay. The owner, Amy was most welcoming. It is a friendly atmosphere at Lake view. We wish Amy and her husband good fortune with their future at this hotel.

Some communal carpets are 'tired' however the owners have not long taken over and are working hard to update this hotel. The option of a slip mat for the shower might be an idea.

The breakfast and the atmosphere were brilliant. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Really can’t recommend highly enough if you are looking for a few days in the heart of Snowdonia, I managed to walk out of the hotel and into the mountains in about 10m and was out all day, arriving back through the quaint little town of Llanberis
